A fire sensation starts at where his soft lips press against mine, the longer he kisses me the more the fire, tingly sensation grows throughout my body under his.

My sharp intake of breaths filled our miniature world that he had seemed to suck me in when his lips pressed against mine.

His lips danced against mine- pulling me into his little dance that I almost can't  keep up.

His free hand traces my jaw, cupping my face. He pulls away, so we can catch our breath.

"Ivy," he murmurs, his mouth brushing against my lips. His other hand that was gripping my wrist  then  moves down to my side, creating even more fire as he lightly squeezes my side.

My hands lift towards his face, tracing his jaw. "Collins," I murmur as he pulls a bit away before coming right back in.

He presses his body closer on mine, kissing me harder. Our lips move faster in response. His hand moves under my shirt, touching my hip. My hands raise up to go through his hair.

What was going on? We were friends. Not anything more, I mean, he did seem to be more open towards his feelings, but I thought he was joking around with me.

I guess I was wrong since he's kissing me right now.

Well I am kissing him back, I think. I mean, I guess I am. I don't really know how to kiss.

"Ivory?" A voice says, walking down the stairs.

Butt hurt jerk recoils away from me as we sit up and look towards the TV.

My brother walks in, "Oh hey Collins."

Butt hurt jerk, or the guy that just kissed me says, "Hey Austin."

I don't look at either, I'm too afraid that my face will turn red. "You guys watch Netflix a lot." Austin notes. "You should do something different."

Only if you knew, Austin.

Butt hurt jerk laughs nervously. "Well I owe it to her since last time I played video games with you instead of watching Netflix with her."

Austin rolls his eyes. "She's just a whiny baby."

"I'm right here you know." I say, looking at Austin.

Austin laughs. "And?"

I rolled my eyes. "What do you need, Austin?"

"I wanted to see if you're going to make dinner because mom is going to be late." He says.

"And why do I have to make it?" I ask. "Because I'm a girl?"

"Well it's either we have good food by you, a girl, or by him, a boy, whose food will be burnt and gross." Collins retorts.

I look over at him. "Touché."

He grins and I look away so I don't blush. "Fine, I'll go make something. What do you guys want?"

They both shrug, earning a groan from me. "Why don't we just go get something?" I offer. "We have two cars here."

Collins smiles at me and I feel my cheeks heat up a little.

"Okay well I'm going to stay here while you two go and get the food, I'm going to start another match on my game." Austin says.

Collins clears his throat. "Okay."

"So, uh, where are we going to go?" Collins asks as we get in the car. "Don't say McDonald's."

I grin, buckling up. "It doesn't matter."

"So,"  he says.

"So?" I repeat, looking at him scratching behind his neck.

"The, uh, you know." He refers to the kiss.

I decide to play with him. "The what?"

His neck gets pink. "You know, Ivy."

"I do not."

"Stop teasing me, Ivy." He said a small smile forming on his lips.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I kid.

"Ivy," he warns.

"Fine," I laugh. "What about it?"

He looks uncomfortable. "What do we do about it?"

I feel just as uncomfortable as he looks. "I-I don't know."

We stop at a red light and he looks over at me. "Well what would you like to do about it?"

"What would you?" I fire back.

"What would I like to do?" He said. "I'd like to take you out on a date."

Well he didn't sugar coat it.

I feel my face heat up. "L-Like a date?!"

He smiles. "Yes. Would you like to go on a date with me?"

I look away nervously. Do I want to go?

What about our friendship?

Sweetie, my subconscious tells me, what friendship? You two were barely 'friends' before, what's the problem now?

"Uh, yeah sure." I awkwardly say.

"Yeah sure what?" He presses.

"You know. . " I say.

"I know what?" He teases.

I groan, hiding my red face. "I'll go on a date with you!"

He grins. "It's a date."

***

"Thanks." Austin says as we hand him his food.

"Your welcome," Collins says.

We both go back down stairs and I sit beside him as we eat.

We watch Netflix in silence. He looks at me then back to Netflix.

"Do I have something on my face?" I ask him with a smile.

He grins, making me think of when we kissed. "I wish you did."

I get confused. "What do you mean?"

"I wish my lips were on your face," he says, leaning closer.

I gasp and he starts leaning closer, body filling with fire.

"Collins," I squeak.

"Hmm?" He asks, eyes on my lips.

"You're spilling your burger." And it was true, the way he was leaning towards me was making sauce leak on his hand.

His face sobers up and he cleans up his mess making me giggle.

"We shall be continued." He tells me, throwing away his trash.

"Are you leaving?" I ask him.

"Yes," he says. "I will pick you up tomorrow."

"For?" I ask.

"Our date." He kisses the top of my head and walks away, leaving me staring after him.
