"Wanna hang out later?" Butt hurt jerk says as we enter our class after lunch.

I give him a look of surprise. "What?"

He doesn't look at me, he is writing his name on a piece of paper. "I said do you wanna hang out later?"

"Uh why?"

He shrugs. "I have northing better to do." He looks at my face. "It wouldn't be a date."

We both shudder at the same time.

"Don't you have other friends to hang out with?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Uh. . .They are all busy." He replies.

"Are you not tutoring Kandi today?" I ask.

He shakes his head. "Nope. If so, I definitely wouldn't be asking tip hang out with you."

I smirk. "You should be honored to hang with me."

He mutters. "More like desperate."

I slap his arm, frowning.

"What?!?" He rubs his arm.

"If you are that desperate to find someone to hang with, go find someone else."

"Oh come on, cupcake, I was kidding." He laughs.

"And so was I."

He scowls at me. "Whatever. Do you want to or not?"

"B-But. . my Netflix-"

"Can wait." He finishes.

"Excuse me?" The teacher interrupts. "Is there something you two would like to share with the class, Collins and Ivory?"

Collins- I mean butt hurt jerk looks at the teacher. "Um. . Not really actually."

"What were you two asking about?" The teacher snaps.

Jeez.

"Yeah, Ivory was asking if there was any extra credit that she could do. And I said that I had KO idea, and that I wanted some too, of course, so she asked if I'd like to go with her and ask. . . you."

"Mhm." The teacher goes on with tge lecture.

"Nice save." I say sarcastically.

He sighs, smiling. "I know."

"Wait up, cupcake!" Butt hurt jerk calls after me.

I turn around quickly, making him halting to a stop. "What?!?"

"Uh. . .What's your address?"

I roll my eyes. "Bye, butt hurt jerk."

"You really aren't mad are you?" He grabs my arm.

"Yes, yes I am. You made me get extra credit papers." I snap.

"Cupcake, I got some too." He hold up a worksheet, waving it in the air in a. . jerk way of him.

"You better do mine." I state.

"Ha-ha!" He fake laughs. "No."

I sigh. "Looks like I'm not going to give you my address to find my house."

"Cupcake, you are luck I really want to take you to the place I'm taking you." He said, looking at me.

"Uh, where are we going?"

"Just remember, dress nice." He grabs my extra credit paper.

He sees my face and rolls his eyes. "It is not a date, cupcake."
