I knew people enjoyed the World Cup, but wow this was more than I would have ever expected. Maybe it was part of the fact it was the first time in years since Britain had held the World Cup or maybe it was the entire Woods family."Glad I'm not claustrophobic," Hannah spoke from beside me, after finding me pacing the tent out of anger she refused to leave my side. Hermione then found us sitting on my bed and she hasn't been far behind.
"You and me both."
I looked out at the sea of people, the red and green hats stood out against everyone's clothes and it was interesting, to say the least.
"Blimey dad, how far up are we!" I heard one of the twins yelp ahead of us, a sinister laugh suddenly echoed off the walls.
"Let's put it this way if it rains you'll be the first to know." I spun around, looking over the railing at the voice. The light blonde hair flew in the wind while his cane slammed into the wooden boards under him.
Draco looked over at his father with pathetic eyes, that when I noticed the presence beside him. Oden stood straight, shoulder back with his nose in the air with a little smirk. Even Draco wasn't smirking. Hannah's breathing picked up, her eyes like a dagger at Malfoy while tightening her grip on my arm.
"We were invited by the Minister," Draco spoke with pride, fixing his shirt while nodding his head to the Minister Box.
"Closer to the ground means closer to the players, and we wouldn't want another broken nose," Hannah hollered back, a smirk was now plastered on his face. Hermione's arm reached around me and pinched Hannah's side.
Odeon scratched his nose, his tell he was trying not to laugh. It was the same story as Sage.
Mr. Malfoy slammed his cane onto Malfoy's toe, his body reacting quickly as he doubled over to hold his foot. I felt two arms grab my shoulder, attempting to move me back and I noticed the dark blue jacket I wanted to fight it but I wasn't the only one.
Mr. Malfoy's cane slammed on Harry's jacket, his face drawing closer to the both of us with a glint in his eye.
"Do enjoy yourself, yes?"
Harry pulled back, his jacket slipping from under the cane and he was moving us back. As soon as we were far enough I broke from his grip, not saying anything but staying at his side.
"Can we talk?"
"I don't know, will you get mad if I do?" I looked at him, the wind blowing his hair in his face and I wanted to smile at how hard he was trying to keep it from his face.
"I'm sorry, I overreacted and you're right to be mad. I was acting like a child," Harry hurried to keep pace with me as we found our seats to the top of the stadium. Hermione sat beside me, her eyes gentle when she noticed my situation but I brushed her off.
I deserved his apology.
"Thank you for the apology, It means alot," I turned to look at him, my hand gripping the railing as I finally looked at him. I could see how sorry he was just by the way he smiled when he heard my voice.
"You aren't mad anymore?"
"A little but I'll get over it," I shrugged because it was the honest to Godric truth. I was still upset by how he acted and I had that right but he apologized and I believe him.
"Thank Godric, I hate you being mad!"
I smiled, titled my head, and nodded at him. I turned back to the World Cup, smiling more when I felt Harry's hand bump mine. I hated being mad too. It wasn't like me but Godric he had no right to act like my handler.
"Look," Hermione pointed to the bottom of the stadium, her other hand shaking my shoulder as she practically leaned against me. I looked to where the members were about to fly out when two hands clapped down on my shoulder.
"Mini," he all but yelled in my ear, my body jumping into Harry's for a second before I looked over my shoulder and smiled at Ced.
"Puff! I thought you'd miss the game!"
"Helga no!"
I smiled and turned back to the game, clapping when each member flew out on their broom and would wave at the crowds. I smiled when I heard Ron fangirl when Krum flew out on his broom.
"Glad we got bets on the game!" The twins yelped out at the same time, almost all of our heads whipping to them and Noah who had little joyus smiles on their faces.
"What did you do?"
"We bet that Bulgarians would catch the snitch but Ireland would win!" Noah yelped back, his smile only grew when I reached out and swatted his arm.
"Noah!"
"Don't worry, we'll be right!" Fred smirked, like he knew something he didn't and all I could hope was they didn't pull a prank in the middle of this. I turned back, taking a breath and letting the cool air of the night sky spread across my cheeks. I felt something place itself on top of my head, turning to look where it was coming from and smiled as Harry placed a small Ireland hat on my head.
"I got it after you left," he shrugged, his smile wide and I hated that I wanted to hug him and hit him all the same.
"Thank you Harry!"
I watched him flinch when I spoke, I didn't even realize my own volume and I cringed within myself.
"No problem!"
I turned back with a permanent smile on my face, smiling every time Cedric would squeeze my shoulder when something happened and when Hermione explained something even if I already knew. Halfway through the game Hannah almost fell over the railing after her and Sage made a bet she couldn't get the cute boy and his sisters attention from under them.
"She smiled at me at least!"
I giggled, the cool and crowd stadium felt more and more joyous as the seconds passed. I felt as if my cheek might hurt forever with how much I was smiling, but I suppose that's the best type of pain one could ask for.
