I was in amazement as the Pegasus flew overhead, their gorgeous wings flapping in the wind with nothing but grace.

"They're perfect!" Sage yelled from over Ginny's shoulder, her eyes wide as she watched them fly closer to Hagrid.

"That's something you don't see every day," the twins spoke in sync, as always, and Noah secretly planted a kiss on Lee's cheek. My eyes were glued to the scene, ignoring the pound in my chest when Harry's gaze went off to someone a few feet away.

"Greyheart," a small tug on my jumper scared me half to death, "how are you feeling?"

I was met with familiar chestnut curls and grey eyes, letting my heart calm down from racing so fast. Wyatt's smile was sincere as he awaited an answer, watching me rather than the Pegasus.

"Rather well, you?"

"Great now," his finger let go of my jumper but his hand seemed to stay glued to my side. I felt my face grow tight, his smile felt contagious as he watched me. The moment was broken when Hannah pulled my hand, the group of us moving to the castle. I waved awkwardly behind my back, not watching as Hannah looped her arm around mine and her other looped around Hermione's.

"I think someone has given (Y/N) Amortentia," Hermione winked. I reached over to push her shoulder but my wrist was grabbed in mid-air.

"Don't go around hit people Mini," Ced let my hand dropped and rushed up to join Noah's other side. I rolled my eyes and joined back into the conversation. I looked around Hannah to speak to Hermione but I ran directly into someone's back. I pulled the jumper fabric into my hands and took a breath when I realized it was one of the twins.

"Look!"

I did my best to look around him, even if he was taller than the castle when I caught a small glimpse of a large boat sailing across the Black Lake, a gold mermaid on the front, and the sail that flew in the wind.

"Pirates?" Harry grabbed both my shoulder, leaning around to see the boat for himself.

"Probably another school visiting," I let his fingers dig into my shoulder a little longer before I noticed the line moving again and decided to leave Hannah the trouble of finding me. I slowly guided Harry and me throughout the crowd, his hands holding tight on my shoulder once we made it inside.

After light pushing and a few of Malfoy's goons ended up on the ground, we had finally made it to the Great Hall. The stars above our head seemed brighter after a summer without them and the light cinnamon scent I've associated with the building, plus cheesecake from Hannah, Hermione, and I late-night snakes, I felt at home once again.

"I see Ron," Harry took control, leading us closer to our friends who saved a seat for the two of us. Hannah seemed to be talking with Noah about something while Ron and Hermione argued.

The wooden benches were just as uncomfortable but all that went out the window once the sorting ceremony began. I watched the younger generation laugh and almost puke as they walked up to the hat, a comforting feeling filling me from head to toe as I remembered myself in their shoes not long ago.

As soon every first year was sorting Dumbledore walked to the podium, my back immediately going straighter as if I remembered the events of last year, how he looked to me for answers, and stood up during my sorting.

"Now that we have settled in, I have an announcement," Dumbledore clapped his hands lightly and I could have sworn the light dimmed just slightly.

"What did you four do?" Noah whispered harshly in our direction.

"Don't blame them," Lee lightly hit his chest and turned to us, "did you lots do something?"

Ron threw a pea at Lee but ended up hitting the back of Lavender's head but she only smiled and turned back to Dumbledore.

"This year Hogwarts will be home not only to everyone in here but some special guests."

Flinch ran past us in a hurry, doing high-kicks until he made it to the post with Dumbledore. They whispered to one another quickly, Dumbledore eventually sending Flinch off without a second thought.

"This year Hogwarts will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament!"

My jaw went slack as I looked to Dumbledore, gasp, and "oh Godric" filled the table as everyone jumping up in their seat.

The Triwizard Tournament felt like an honor to be alive for with the festivities and the entertainment right at your fingertips. I watched the twin practically sign up with their eyes and they waited for Dumbledore to continue.

"As some know, the Triwizard Tournament brings together three different schools for a magical contest where each school has a single student contestant. Let me be clear, if chosen you will stand alone."

Silence filled the Great Hall for the first time since I've been here and as everyone watched Dumbledore.

"But enough of that, Welcome the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic."

Suddenly I wasn't home but at a summer camp with a million new directors and a bunch of kids I would have to share my bunk with.
