*angsty very very angsty*

"Who are you? You aren't Taro." She scoffed and Shuichi shook his head quickly. "W-what, no! B-but he--" "Ugh, shut up. Sako, come with me." She demeanded and and small girl in Shuichi's arms shook her head. "Y-you're gonna hurt me!" She trembled and the girl scoffed. "Is that what you think of me? A murderer? Because I'm not! Maybe I'm just mean! And I'm trying to change." She said. Shuichi's heart was pounding and scaredness and rage coursed through him. He let go of Masako and pushed past the girl with tears forming in his eyes. How could Rantaro do this?!

"Rantaro!" He screamed, walking into the room where we was talking with Aya. "Sorry, Aya, gotta take this liar away," He grumbled, grabbing Rantaro's wrist and dragging him out of the room.

He dragged him all the way to the beach, and when he got to the beach, Shuichi screamed. "Augh! How could you--?! How could you lie to me like that?! I-I came here to help you! I thought I trusted you!" He shouted and Rantaro sighed. "I-"

"You lied about so many things!" Shuichi went on, ignoring the other boy. "You lied about her name, her personality, her actions, and you took a name from a recent case and switched up the letters to get 'Ohara Amami' and you knew I'd get it at one point! I can't trust you anymore, what else are you going to lie about, your feelings for me?! Oh, god!" Shuichi dropped to his knees and sobbed.

"I did it to protect you, Shuichi." He said and Shuichi shook his head. "I d-don't believe you..."

"Ayano was sweet once. All the things I told you was true, all of it. But...she changed. I knew you wouldn't look for a criminal so I hid her identity. I was closest to her and I knew exactly where she was headed. I wanted to stay so we cold spend Valentines Day together but you had figured it out by then. She...did commit arson, but once. She was always fascinated by fire and murder and-"

"Lies." Shuichi accused him. "You're still lying!" He choked. "I-I'm a detective, Rantaro! I know exactly what this is!" Shuichi said.

"Here's the truth! Ohara never existed! She was a decoy to get me to go on the trip with you for the Valentines Day thing. Ayano always existed, and the stories you told about Ohara were true, yes, but they were all things Azumi said or did. Ayano had a multiple personality disorder and Azumi is the original. You had recently found out and pretended all of your sisters had died for a excuse to look for Azumi more. You had deducted that Azumi was the more dangerous one, but you were wrong. You tracked her down in attempt to stop Ayano from doing anything bad, thinking it was Azumi. That's why you went to Canada, you knew she'd be here. You quickly made up a name I would find out quickly so you would get me and your sister. But what stopped you from catching your sister? Me. Your feelings for me. You always acted as if you thought your sisters were dead in case overheard, believe me, I did. You love Ayano, though it was Azumi. When you got in touch with Azumi, you called her Ayano when she answered and she got mad, so she decided not to come. But when she's mad, she switches personalities, so yes, she came here most likely to hurt you. And frankly, I can't blame her. You told Kamei about 'Ohara' and told her to call Ayano/Azumi Ohara if they came. But unfortunately, she didn't do that. You don't have twelve sisters, you have eleven, you just say twelve because of her personality disorder. You pretend the two personalities are different people. You are a liar, Rantaro Amami! You lied to me, I can't believe you!"

Rantaro couldn't move, he knew Shuichi was a great detective, but he never imagined he would find out. And...Azumi was Ayano and Ayano was Azumi? His mind was racing. If he said something about how much he loved Shuichi, it wouldn't work. Not one bit. He just let Shuichi sob as he stared at him.

"You're a smart detective, Shuichi." He said. "I'm so sorry, but that won't help anything, will it?" He asked and Shuichi shook his head. "Nothing will help." He cried. "Not even your kisses, I--I don't even want your kisses anymore!" He screamed and Rantaro stepped back. "You will never snap me, you won't make me feel guilty, you lied to me and--l-look out!" He covered his head and before Rantaro could react, he had a dagger in his shoulder.

"Wah-?! Augh!" He turned around, clutching his arm to see Ayano laughing. "Wahaha! That's what you get for calling me that douche bag Azumi! Also because you love my sister more than me. I'm hurt, Taro!" She made a fake crying face and he glared at her. "I love you both equally, but you kind of messed it up with this!" He yelled, pointing at the dagger in his arm. "And I know Shuichi so it's the most possible option that he had abandoned me so if I turn around he won't be there." He turned around and sure enough, no one was there. "Knew i-" When he turned back around he saw Shuichi behind Ayano grabbing something from her back pocket. "Wh-what?!" He exclaimed, and just then, he stabbed himself in the shoulder.

Ayano turned on her heel and gasp, immediately changing back into Azumi. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" He screamed, holding his arm and Rantaro arched his eyebrows. "Shuichi let m-" "Go away!" He screamed and Rantaro walked back to the house with no hesitation.

Azumi quickly turned to Shuichi and ran over. "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to-" "It was me, Azumi. I stabbed myself, you're good." He assured her and she sighed. "Why'd you stab yourself?" She asked. "To get you to turn back into yourself. You turn back into Azumi when you feel guilt for someone, when you lie and when you cough," Shuichi said, squeezing his arm as the blood stained his shirt.

"O-okay, come on, we need to get you some help with that." She said, helping him up. "So...do you think of me as two horrible people?" She asked and Shuichi chuckled and shook his head. "No, your other half seems like the person who if you got to know them, you'd be great friends. But if you don't feel comfortable with me refuring to you as two people I could just call you the eleven and a half sister." Shuichi smirked and Azumi gasped.

"Oh, that's amazing!" She exclaimed and as she smiled, her eyes lit up. It was as Rantaro said, her eyes were a meadow. "But, please address me as the personality I am." She giggled and Shuichi nodded. "Noted." He smiled.

When they got inside, Aya bandaged his shoulder up and as Shuichi was setting up to sleep on the couch (not wanted to be near Rantaro), Kamei came up behind him.

"Go sleep in your room. Rantaro's in the bathroom right now. He suggested sleeping out here. Go and enjoy your rest," She said softly and he nodded.

Rantaro...wanted to sleep on the couch, huh? He could've just slept in the same room as one of his sisters (they were all staying and Kamei had a lot of rooms. He climbed into the bed and cried himself to sleep.

He was crying about all the pressure he had been put through, but there was one more thing.

"H-he'll n-never love m-me anymore.." He sobbed.

this is horribly made sorry ugh
