CH 2: Metalbeak

Blackshot reached the city for forty five minutes. He approached a canteen and sat at one of their chairs. He then started browsing the phone he just stole from the ones he just killed. He read every message the guy had and found out that the one he killed was actually a henchman of a son of a politician. This henchman was a member of a gang faction hired by the politician to do stupid things. He thought that he have to take them down before they victimize another couple.

Suddenly, his phone rang. Blackshot grabbed his phone on his left pocket.

"This is Blackshot, who's this?" He asked.

"This is Jem, Blackshot, we need your help. The Electrolite Battery Corp hired us to find Tony's niece but we couldn't even fired her."

"Wait, who's Tony?" Blackshot asked.

Jem speaks fast. Blackshot could not understand everything he was talking about. Probably it was the effect of the coffee Jem drank earlier.

"Tony is the Electrolite Battery Corp's CEO."

"Wait, what the heck is a Electrolite Battery Corp?"

"It's corporation who hired us."

"Yeah I know but what kind of corp was that? I mean you said they were a battery corp but what kind of batteries they are manufacturing?"

"Automotive batteries, why'd you asked?"

"Let me guess, that security specialist hired you?"

"Yeah."

"Tell me more about it."

"Well, we've been finding his niece but we don't even know where to start!"

"Where are you now?"

"Tagaytay."

"That's too far! But I'll try my best to reach your location as possible. You guys rest first."

"Alright."

Blackshot ended the transmission. He decided to eat at the canteen to satisfy his hunger before finding this gang faction and this politician and take them down for good but doing that is way too dangerous but of course he could not risk any chances of letting someone got into trouble again so, he started concocting a plan.

"So, what did Blackshot says?" Jeth asked as he played World of Warcraft in the van's computer.

"He says that we should rest first. He also says that we are too far to reach. Not sure where he was right now." Jem replied as he played the same game on the other computer inside the van.

Jeth put up a guard tower in front of his base. Three brutish orcs suddenly attacked his base. He commanded four of his footmen to defend his base but suddenly, an enemy hero came up and started slashing everybody.

"Come on!!" Jeth screamed.

"You'll never beat me on this one!" Jem says.

Eric was sitting on the front passenger's seat. He looked at the horizon as he observed the hilly path ahead of them. The wind and the breeze of the place was too cold that he could not take it any longer so he reached to his left pocket, grabbed a cig, light it up and blow a lungful of smoke. The heat started to fill him up.

Blackshot finished eating his grub. He stood up and read the last message on the enemy's inbox.

"We got the girl already. We are waiting at the Shadow of A Thousand Suns. Ask the Arrow Gang about it."

Arrow Gang? They mean THE Arrow Gang? Just what the heck did I got myself into? He thought. Blackshot knows that the Arrow Gang is one of the powerful gangsters alive on earth. Well in Philippines actually. They first started as raiders, prior to the Second World War, and became a full time gang on 1950's. Until they became connected to syndicates in year 2000's.
