CH 10: Quad-Fire

The naval officer assigned on a hidden base in Palawan have not heard the news about the captured ship on Mariana Trench. The ship contains a large amount of batteries which acts as a power source to some countries. The Philippine Government allowed this shipment and even assigned troops on that ship just to make sure that they have transferred the batteries on those countries.

An ensign entered the room. He saluted and delivered the news to his superior.

"We have to contact the Army immediately!" The officer says as he stood up from his seat.

Blackshot and his team were halfway towards the building when suddenly a group of gangsters ambushed them.

"Hide!!" Blackshot screamed as he shoved Jeth to a nearby trashbin.

Jem and Eric quickly hid behind an Owner Jeep as the gangsters opened fire.

"Argh, that was close!!" Jeth says.

"Hey Blackshot, Allan says hi!!" A gangster says.

Blackshot used his ESP sense at the gangster to gather any information to use against him.

"Hey Billy!" Blackshot called.

The gangster gulped as he heard his name.

"I smell fear!!" Blackshot screamed once more as he and Jeth revealed themselves and opened fire, taking them all down.

Jem and Eric joined the shootout as both sides were caught in an epic stand-off. The gangsters fell on their knees as they both lay on the ground, dead.

"That's what we call 'Quad-Fire!'" Jem says.

Blackshot proceeded as they came across another set of gangsters.

"Argh! You guys are annoying!!" Blackshot screamed as he tossed a grenade at them.

The gangsters were blown to pieces as the explosion takes place. Jem makes sure that they didn't survive as he opened fire at the gangsters who were still moving.

The team continued as they reach the entrance of the building, only to find that the security guards were already dead.

"We're late!" Blackshot screamed as four more gangsters appeared behind them.

The team whirled to their direction and opened fire, taking them down.

Blackshot heard gunfires inside. He immediately rushed inside as he followed the sound.

There, he saw Higuit and her lackeys defending the staircase from a bunch of goons. The team caught them by surprise as they opened fire at the remaining enemies.

"Got any plan?" Jem asked.

"I still don't know yet where they are."

"But I thought you have absorbed the enemy's memories?" Jem asked as he observed the dead gangsters.

"Yeah, but it only leads us to another place they occupied."

"Then let's attack that place to end this crap once and for all!"

"We can't just do that."

"Why not?"

"I saw a lot of armed men."

"You guys alright?" Higuit suddenly errupted.

"Yes." Jeth says as he walked outside of the building.
