CH 14: Another Day

Electrolite Corp Building

Blackshot opened his eyes to start a new day. He was on the Quarters Area of the building.

Each double-deck beds were aligned properly. Some wounded security soldiers were resting, some just retires for the day.

Blackshot left the Quarters and proceeded finding his teammates. The fourth target they are going to hit was a pharmacy which was under the gang's control.

He found the team on the mess hall, eating grub and filling themselves up.

Blackshot approached the buffet, grabbed a chicken and then walked to their table.

"Blackshot, what is the next target?" Jeth asked all of a sudden.

"Give me a break." Blackshot says as he took a bite and then sat down.

"So, Higuit says that she was your sister, is it true?" Jeth asked again.

"I don't know. Truth is I don't have any idea how the heck happened."

"What do you mean?"

"I cannot explain just how the heck those things were coming up in my head. I grew up in an orphanage and a medical facility. I don't have any girlfriends since they were just wasting my time. But I could not explain how it appears in my head."

"You mean your memories?"

"Yeah."

Blackshot stood up as he finishes off his grub. He  at the three who were still eating their meals.

"I'll meet you guys on the ground floor." Blackshot says once more as he turns and left.

"Blackshot really needs a psychologist." Eric says.

"Why is that?" Jem asked.

"Just a thought."

The Windwalkers arrived on the ground floor. They searched for Blackshot but only to find that he was missing.

Jeth reached for his phone and called him. His phone rang for once then he answered it.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Where are you?"

"In your van, playing this awesome game."

"Alright, we are coming at you."

Blackshot sent ten footmen on the Orc's camp. He attacked one of the towers of the enemy, and then attacked the other one. He proceeded by leading his men on an orc burrow occupied by three peons. One of his men is killed in the fight but that doesn't matter. As long as his plan wasn't ruined, he could still destroy them.

The burrow were destroyed. Suddenly, the main army of the Orcs have started to charge at the remaining nine. Blackshot immediately withdrew his forces and lured them to his other army which was waiting from a distance.

The main army of the orcs got ambushed by one of Blackshot's army. While they were busy, Blackshot sent his second army, which was also idle, to attack the camp while the army was busy.

He destroyed all of their structures and slew all of their men. The Orc's army has succeeded on defeating the army Blackshot has sent to ambush them which is why he sent all his men to fight them.

As soon as the game is finished, Jeth opened the van very wide.

"Hey Blackshot, care to tell us what the plan is?"

"Plan? What plan?"

"He was talking about our next target." Eric says.

"Oh. Next target is a pharmacy." Blackshot says as he stepped off the van. "Our plan is simple, assemble the Zexal Team and then attack them."

"That's it?"

"Yeah. There's not much we can do about it so the whole plan is always gonna be like that."

"Ok, then let's do it." Jeth says.

The Longfoot arrived in front of the pharmacy. They saw a lot of armed men guarding the whole place.

"Wait." Blackshot says as he sensed something not right.

"Something not right?" Jeth asked.

"Yeah. Why are these guys are not attacking them?" Blackshot asked as he saw the policemen who were idle.

"Must be a bunch of corrupt people." Jeth says.

"Nevermind, let's kill them!" Blackshot says as he stepped off the van.

The team set their aim at them. The Zexal Team were covering their left flank while the Windwalkers were shooting on the right.

Blackshot took down the enemies ahead of them. The armed men were mowed down really fast that they didn't have any chance to fight back.

"Let's get inside!!" Zexal 1 says.

Blackshot and his team stormed the establishment. Multiple shooters opened fire at them but the team fought back, taking them down. More and more enemies were coming out from the backdoor but in the end, they won the fight.

"We are unstoppable!!" Jem screamed.

The team walked inside backdoor. Blackshot approached one of the dead bodies and started absorbing his memories.

"What's he doing?" Zexal 4 asked.

"He's..uh absorbing memories." Jeth says.

"He could do that?"

"Yeah."

After a couple of minutes, Blackshot stood up and walked towards them.

"We got a problem."

"What is it?" Zexal 1 asked.

"Two large attacks are going to take place on the building. Let's get back before they crush the whole place."
