CH 17: Cavalry has Arrived

"Open fire!!" One of the Agents screamed as he opened fire at the incoming enemies.

The last line of defense has been rigged by the enemy. They are being pushed towards the third floor. But the tide has changed when Tony and his bodyguards appeared.

"Brother," one of the bodyguards says. "Are these guys were the one who kidnapped our niece?" He asked.

"Yes, Jill. What do you think?" Tony asked.

"Another dead men I think." He says as they opened fire.

"G-Boy, cover right side. Crocs, my left side!!" Tony says as he opened fire.

The four effectively mowed down the enemies. The gangsters' bullets were useless against their armor.

"Keep fighting!!" Tony screamed.

The last line of defence fought back and pushed the attackers away, surviving the seventh wave.

"Good job boys!" Tony screamed once more.

The last line decided to get to the frontlines to fight the remaining gangsters. Higuit, Jem and the engineers also joined them as they marched to the entrance.

The eighth attack began as the enemies came at them.

"Here goes another one!" Jill says as he set his aim at them.

The enemies opened fire at them, downing multiple corp soldiers and Agents. Blackshot and the rest of the team opened fire at the enemies like no tomorrow in an attempt to drive them away.

"Keep killing them!!" Tony screamed.

As soon as the attackers from the eighth wave was about to dissipate, a gangster with grenad launchers appeared and blew up some of them.

Blackshot managed to evade the explosion. A lot of soldiers and agents were killed. Blackshot stood up and approached Four. He was officially dead due to the explosion.

Blackshot and the Windwalkers decided to continue the fight. Tony and his bodyguards also joined the fight as they opened fire at them. Higuit and the remaining engineers stood their ground to defend the whole base.

The team has managed to take down the eighth attack.

"I don't think we are gonna be able to finish this." Jem says as he saw the ninth wave closing in.

"Well I can't believe it would end like this." Jeth says.

The remaining men gripped their weapons tightly. They are ready of what will happen next when suddenly a lot of Longfoot arrived at the scene, running over the gangsters and ending the ninth attack.

"Yeah!! The cavalry has arrived!!" One of the engineers says as he saw the other Electrolite Battery Corp soldiers.

The reinforcement fought the incoming large amount of enemies which Blackshot suspects the tenth wave.

The rest of the team joins the fight to fend off the tenth wave as they took them down within a matter of minutes.

"Good job guys." Tony says.

"What happened to attack we launched?" Allan asked Alejandro.

"I'm afraid, they are all dead."

"What?!"

"Most of our business are down and we do not have enough men to defend it. What do we do now?"

"Tell the remaining idled gangsters to guard this building. No one leaves and no one gets on, understood?"

"Yes."
