The Valentines Day Card

Chapter 2

"So what's your name again?" I hear Natsu ask. I've met her a few times so it kind of hurts that she forgot it. Guess you can't expect much from a seven year old.

"It's kageyama." I replied. She looks confused, does she really not remember me?

"Ka- kagay.. KAGAYAMA!!" whispers Natsu, trying to say my name.

 OH GOD That's like the worst pronunciation she could have said, "Just call me Tobio".

"TOBEE-O"

"Close enough. Anyways Hinata said I'm supposed to help you with your homework? Where do you want to work on that?" She glares at me as she motions for me to follow her up the stairs to her room. Maybe she thought I forgot already. She doesn't think I'm that dumb does she??

We approach a door that has the word "NATSU" written in big pink letters. She opens the door and we step into a messy room with lots of orange. Guess she takes after Hinata in choosing a favorite color. I sit down at a little table squishing my legs underneath. I know I'm not the best in school but the work she's doing is easy and she is getting it done pretty fast. Even though she is in Elementary school I can tell she is way smarter than Hinata. I guess I zoned out because I heard sniffling and when I looked at Natsu she was crying. Oh no I already said I'm not too good with kids but now she is crying, that's worse than just baby sitting. Should I call Hinata?? No, I don't want to bother him.

"What's wrong?" I asked hoping she can't tell I'm panicking.

"The Valentines day party is tomorrow and I like this guy but I'm too boring for him to like me back." She sniffles. Oh wow I wasn't expecting that uhh..

"Well that's just not true," she looks at me, tears still streaming down her face. "I may not know you very well but I know Hinata and I know he is very courageous and never lets anything get him down. Also he is like the opposite of boring and I can tell you two are very similar. He's also kind of cute. WAIT! umm forget that last bit." OMG how much of an idiot are you to say you think Hinata is cute? She's gonna think you are crazy- I get interrupted by Natsu hugging me.

"T- thank you Tobee-o for making me feel better!"

"Oh uh no problem! Also I can tell you are a lot smarter than Hinata is."

"That's not true! Shoyo is smart!!"

"HAHA no he isn't. He'd struggle with that work you were doing earlier." I looked at her and I swear she was about to explode into laughter. Think of a way to change the topic before she passes out idiot.

OH! I bet she'd like this idea, "Here why don't I help you make a valentines day card for that boy you like?" Her mood changes quickly as she runs to grab paper, markers, and glitter glue scattered around her room.

We had been working for a while when out of nowhere she spoke up.

"Call him Shoyo." She bluntly said, no it's more like she commanded me to call him that.

"Wha-".

"His name is Shoyo, because I'm Hinata too." Oh I guess I didn't think about how that would be confusing for her. Would Hinata be ok with me calling him Shoyo though? Well I can at least call him Shoyo around Natsu I guess.. I was about to tell her ok when I noticed my hands were all sticky. They were covered in glitter glue.. great.
