It's the day before Karasuno's Valentines Dance and Kageyama is forced into a very odd situation. Hinata leaves to help his mom run errands while Kageyama is left to babysit Natsu while also dealing with his feelings for his best friend.
Soon after I agreed to call him Shoyo she finished her card and showed me. It was red with pink hearts on the front and glitter glue all over. It was quite simple and the message she wrote was pretty straightforward. It read: "U r cute <3 Be my boyfriend. -Natsu". Oh man I wish it was that easy.

"It looks.. nice," I told her.
"THANKS!! I spent a lot of time on it!" she replied. It really only took ten minutes and I had to help her cut out the heart shapes, plus I got glitter glue all over my hands but that's fine because it helped cheer her up.
"OK, dress up time!"
"What- no."
"Pleaseeeeeee, Shoyo plays dress up with me all the time!!" Wait really? That's so cute I need photos of that.
"Hmm I don't know.."
"At least let me paint your nails?" she made that face again and started fake crying. I mean I don't have anything else to do so I guess that's fine.
"Sure you can paint my nails."
"YAY!!! Thank you Tobee-O!"
She ran and grabbed a few colors and we decided on a midnight blue. She was surprisingly good at it, I wonder if she practices on Hinata? I don't think I've ever seen him with nail polish on though. While waiting for my nails to dry she gets up and starts playing with my hair. I can't really stop her with my hands in this state so she pulls a bunch of my hair into a little ponytail on the top of my head. I hope Hinata never sees me like this. It's totally embarrassing.
"So, you helped me make a valentines day card for the guy I like. Is there anyone you like?" Natsu asked me out of nowhere. I guess it's not that weird of a question but it still took me by surprise.
"No. I mean I don't think I do," I ask myself more than I answer her question. I mean do I like Hinata? I like spending time with him and whenever we play volleyball I feel like he'll always be there for me, "Even if I did, there is no way He'd like me back".
"NOO I bet they are totally in love with you!!" Pfft- I doubt that, "well you should make them a Valentines day card!"
"I guess I could.. Would you help me make it?" I knew that would make her happy so I let her make a copy of her card. Hinata would probably laugh at me if I gave it to him though. Or he'd think it was a joke and throw the card away.. Just like her card it was red and had glitter glue all over.

I didn't really know what to write so I basically just copied what Natsu wrote, "U r cute <3 Go to the dance with me Shoyo? -Tobio". I only really put our names because I know it would please Natsu, not like I'd ever let her look at it though. I'd die before I let her look at it so I shove it at my bag and ask her what she wants to do now.
"DRESS UP TIME!!!"
"Nuh-uh."
"PLEASE I already did your hair and nails!!" Dang it she started whimpering. I hate that she has that power over me, but what am I supposed to do? Make her cry more?
"I'll design your outfit for the dance!" Wha-
"How do you know about the dance?"
"Cause that's all Shoyo talks about now. Volleyball and the dance," Hinata talked about the dance? And more than once? Hinata doesn't seem like the type to like dances that much, unless he wants to go with someone..
"HERE WEAR THIS" Natsu shoves a hot pink tutu in my face. No way in hell would I ever wear that-
"If you really want to play dress up let me pull up suit rentals," What am I about to get myself into?
"Wait you'd actually let me pick your outfit for the dance?"
"Yea, I mean I wasn't gonna go anyways so why not." I mean whatever she picks can't be that bad right?
"WHAT? NO you have to go with that guy you like!!" She remembers that?? I guess not super well because she already went back to drawing suit ideas. Wow. Some of them actually look pretty nice, "I like that one with the orange tie."
"Ooh so you should get this black one with the orange tie!"
"Cool, I'll pick it up tomorrow after practice," right as I place my order in for the suit I hear the garage door open, that must be Hinata and his mom.
"SHOYO!! Come on Tobio let's go!" and with that she ran out of her room.
