All these thoughts and new things swirl in my head. Like wirlpool but they don't reach the bottom.
⠀
Taylor and I sat down on one of the nearest couches next to us. I still feel like I shouldn't trust a place where I get kidnapped and offered a job employment... or I hope I'm offered.
⠀
Taylor goes on to explain she's part of an organization called The Berg. They against the EDF rule over this city and hope to rid them of it. They've been at it for 6 years with no success so far.
⠀
"Why do you need me so badly that you would kidnap me and bring me here. I would've have had better thoughts of this place if I was politely asked"
⠀
"First, it's wasn't kidnapping," Taylor says, "Your lucky I got you here before you lost more blood. That arm of yours will take some healling. Second we couldn't risk you being stuck with those scavengers."
⠀
"How do you know what would've happened if I stayed?" I reply.
⠀
"Well, someth-"
⠀
Nick shoved his head threw the door. "Taylor, your need in the monitor room."
⠀
"Coming" she stands up. "We'll talk later. Ok?"
⠀
"Sure" I reply cautiously. She walks over and takes Nicks hand and disappear down the hallway. So I'm gonna be the outcast because I'm probably the only one without a relationship. I always thought relationships were just a bunch of crap.
⠀
A few minutes later, Asher walks in.
⠀
"You wanna go downstairs so you can show me what you can do with a weapon, not with my gut?" He says.
⠀
I laugh like in the first time in months. "Sure, why not." I've only been here for about a day and already likening it.
