I slowly open the door. The hallway I walk into is empty and it's very quite. My footsteps echo as I walk down the hallway.

I walk for awhile with no sign of anything here. Then I come face to face with a door. I can hear talking on the other side. My courousity takes over me and I enter.

They room to my suprise doesn't look as run down as I suspected. There a lot of people of couches, talking with each each other. There are two girls and one guy I front of a large monitor. One of the girls was the one taking care of me in my room. She looks like she hasn't eaten in a few days. The other girl has extremely dark black hair with red highlights in in. She looks around my age, maybe older. The guy with them look really built. He looks around 16 or 17.

Someone jumps from behind me and puts me in a head lock. My first instinct is to elbow in the stomach, which I do. He falls back and gasps for air.

"What the heck dude." He gasp.
"James."
I turn around to see that everyone has stranded up. The girl with dark brown hair was the one who spoke. "Nice job. You just took down one of our best people with a single punch."

The girl that took care of me rushes over to the fallen man. "Asher! Are you ok?"

I'm guessing Asher's the guy I just hit. "Ya I'm ok" he replied. "Sorry man, thought you were somebody else. What's your name."

"James." I say hesitantly.

"Well, nice to meet you James," Asher replies, "This is Sam (gesturing to the girl who helped me), this is Nick (to the other guy with brown hair), and if you don't know Taylor, she knows you."

"I have no clue." I say.

"James, Ive protected you since you were 12. Without me, you would've died. That man you thought you killed, you didn't. The gun you had had no ammunition. You would've died without me there. Now I brought you here. You'll be one of our best members." The dark brown hair girl says.
