Disclaimer: I know Kuroo won't do what I wrote here if he were real, but he was the one I imagined with this scenario lmao. Also, I think this is cliche, but I still had fun writing this one-shot. Anyway, have fun! (*^▽^*)

The door automatically shuts behind you as an affectionate smile graced your lips, your eyes glancing at the grocery bags in your hands. You imagined how happy Kuroo would be if you surprise him with his favorite dishes.
This is the least you can do as you feel him getting exhausted—or maybe distant in your relationship. It's understandable since you've been busy for a couple of months because of a project that your team finally completed. You haven't been paying attention to him as much, but you know he understands since you are working for your future together.
You two are very simple and can be pleased by the littlest things, which you consider a blessing. Really.
You checked the time and confirmed that you can still prepare for dinner if you got home. Coming home late these days made it impossible to proper for food; you figured that your meals for the last few months weren't the healthiest but you had no other option.
It's not like Kuroo doesn't cook for the both of you; he just started complaining. Although you were surprised at that since he's always been rational enough to understand things, you just concluded that he's also tired. You thought that Kuroo's bound to feel that way, concluding that it's natural.
Perhaps you just refuse to admit that things have gone awry between the two of you, or you didn't want your perception of Kuroo to change since you loved him that way. But that is why you're determined to have a talk with him tonight.
You removed your gaze from the bus' window and took out a small notepad and pen from your bag. Writing a note for a significant other seems old-fashioned for some people, but you wanted to be sure incase you can't say everything you want; so you're writing some of it instead. Afterwards, you folded it twice and while deciding where you would put it, the bus stopped—which made you frantic for some reason.
You ended up clutching the small piece of paper in your one hand while the other carried the plastic bag. A sigh escaped your lips as you walked to you and Kuroo's apartment complex.
While you were on the elevator, a lot of places where you could put the note passed by your mind. It would have been better if it was a sticky note that you can even put on a mug.
Anyway, as if it's your first time visiting a boyfriend's house, your heart pounded anxiously. You wished that your talk with him will go well, and that everything will be alright again.
You tried to think positively and forced yourself to show a optimistic smile as you arrived in front of your front door. Greeting him in a good mood might set a good atmosphere; everything will go smooth from then on if that happens.
Once you opened the door, darkness greeted you. A thought that perhaps Kuroo wasn't home, entered your mind; but that immediately dissipated when you saw his shoes, carelessly thrown on the ground—along with a pair of black pumps that wasn't yours.
You positively thought that it belongs to his friend, and that they were too flustered to even care about properly organizing their shoes. Maybe it's naivety, but you trust Kuroo more than anyone. You have been together since college, through thick and thin.
You really tried to push those thoughts away from your mind with a cheerful smile; however, you felt dread took over your body when you heard someone moaning. It's a girl's voice, and her moans are too sensual for you to not have the wrong thoughts. One foot stepped back and one hand dropped the plastic bag, it made a sound not louder than your heart and the moaning.
