He was over 150km/h on the road, he didn't mind for any fines at the moment. He just needed to get there fast. He tried to call Eda, but she still hasn't picked up. He's too concentrated on the road passing by him like a blur, but he has to slow down as he turns to a coast side avenue. It was fairly busy full of cars with people eager to get to work, but there was no sign of traffic. That was good. The sight of the Dark Sea bathing the turkish coast was really beautiful, and he caught himself observing that sight for too long. He focused his eyes back on the road, but something flicked on his mind. He pushed the brake abruptly, almost having the car behind him hit his back. He parks the car on the side, his hands still on the wheel as he takes another deep breath. As he tries to focus and calm his mind and heart, the flick reappears. The same image. Again. That never happened before, but his mind needed him to remember this. He glances to the sight, and his hand involuntarily reaches to the car handle to get out. He was kind of suffocating inside. He walks to the shore, and then closes his eyes to breathe in some air and try to calm himself down. When he opens his eyes again, the sight of the Dark Sea brings him a sense of familiarity. He has both hands on his hips, still taking deep breaths wondering if this sea could have the answers be needed. His sight goes down, to his feet, to the concrete, and that's when he remembers. "Eda, gitme", he recognizes his own voice. "Give me one reason to stay, Serkan. One reason!", it was Eda's turn to say. Her eyes gave in that she's been crying. He felt the crushing sensation on his chest, probably heavy with his heart. "I have fallen madly in love with you", he hears himself saying and he's in shock. He can't believe the words that came out of his own mouth, but he feels the exact feeling of that moment, his heart no longer heavy and his chest light like a plume. He didn't feel the words choking on his throat anymore, because they came out. As he was so light, he surprised her (and himself) when he slightly pushed her face towards him and kissed her. He fell in love with her. His own brain showed him that. This feeling he can't quite understand or put his finger on, this feeling is love. He wanted to know how he fell in love with her, but truth is it wasn't hard to understand. This memory-less Serkan, the old Serkan, just by spending a couple of days with Eda, was already falling for her. He could see, firsthand and for the second time, that she could make anybody love her. It wasn't really hard to figure out the how's of this equation, he just had to be with her for 5 minutes and feel his heartbeats. He's never doubted her love for a second, but he's doubted his. He wondered if he could ever love someone, make someone happy, make someone his entire world, his main priority, but the feeling he just experienced (for the second time) had just shown him that yes, he did love her. So much. He'd cherished her more than his own existence. As he stared at the Dark Sea, he realized the world was brighter again. Ever since he came back, for the first time he felt hope, he felt like things were going to be alright in the end. She brought the color back to his life, and although he still didn't remember every piece of their story, he was now sure that he loved her. And that this love would never fade away, not even if he doesn't get his memories back. But he wouldn't stop pushing his brain, he wanted to know their story, the beautiful love story that had all his friends and family talking about. Even his mother, who he still couldn't believe lived a happy and harmonious relationship with Eda. He walked back to his car smiling, and as he got in he peeped a message on his phone. It was Eda.
"Serkan, she's here," that's what the text said.

General FictionHe promised her when she opened her eyes again he would be back, so she opened... Yet he wasn't there. An EdSer shortfiction based on literally assumptions. My take on how I'd carry on the story from the point left off on bolüm 28.
