can we pretend that all of them are born in the SAME YEAR but like their MONTHS are the same as their AGE ORDER? like (for example) let's pretend yeonjun is born in march, soobin in may, beomgyu in july, taehyun in september, kai in december, something like that? i realised if i actually follow the age order it would make no sense.
and yes, i know technically in korea (i honestly don't know a lot about honourifics. but from what i see in ateez — where literally 5/8 members are born in 1999, the 99z don't really refer to those that are born earlier than you but in the same year as 'hyungs') don't refer friends that are born in the same year as 'hyungs' but for the sake of the story, let's PRETEND THEY DO.
conclusion:
1. they're all born in the SAME YEAR
2. they still call hyung's hyung's.

this book will involve a lot of TIME SKIPS. this is genuinely because what i'm trying to show is not how their relationship blossomed and their cute moments, but how it fits to the theme of a 'phobia'. so please understand when you see loads and loads of __ MONTHS LATER. on top of chapters! there might be time skips WITHIN CHAPTERS as well, although that only happens once in a while.
