CHAPTER 4

NAMJOON's P.O.V.

I curiously looked at the girl beside who suddenly turned silent. I wonder who she really is. Is she really a fan of our group? Am I her bias? I still can't believe that she tried to propose marriage earlier. I shook my head with the memory. She looked so serious back then. I almost had a heart attack. I turned speechless because I didn't want to offend her but I was instantly relieved when she took it back and said that it was only a joke.

I looked at her side view and studied her features. She actually looks pretty even without make-up on her face. Her look is uncommon for me because all the women I have encountered never leaves their room without any make-up on.

On a closer look, she has that long naturally curly eyelashes that every girl envies. Her eyebrows are not on fleek and yet it fits perfectly in her small oval face. She also has that natural pink glow on her cheeks and her lips has a hint of red, but I am one hundred percent sure that she is not wearing any lipstick. She suddenly turned her head to me and I was caught staring. I immediately turned my head around and feigned ignorance. I didn't realize I was even studying her features. What am I doing?

I stared out my window and tried to be nonchalant as possible. I saw from my peripheral vision how the corner of her lips pulled up into a smile as she looked at me. I saw two cute little dimples near her lips.  She also has dimples? Why didn't I notice it earlier?

"Were you just looking at me Namjoon-ssi?" She asked with a huge smile while playfully poking me on my side. My mouth opened but my brain suddenly stopped functioning and I was at a loss for words which is unusual. What's with this lady? How can she make my mind go blank?

"You think I'm pretty?" She asked while she batted her eyelashes at me with a pretty smile plastered on her face. My heart is starting to beat faster. Is she flirting with me?

"N-No! Why would I even look at you? You are mistaken!", I retorted defensively. Her mouth formed a small O before she pursed her lips and stopped poking me to resume looking at the window. I think I offended her. Now, I feel sorry.

"I'm sorry. Did I offend you?" I asked apologetically. My conscience is bugging me.

"Aniyo. (No.)" She answered in a low voice without looking at me. I know that she is lying. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"You are pretty." I mumbled before I looked away from her just to make her feel better. I saw how she turned to me wide-eyed while her mouth was hanging open. It was a few seconds before I carefully pushed his chin up to close her mouth before I fly enters.

"How was your knee?" I asked trying to divert her attention. "Does it still hurt?" I asked with concern as I looked down on her knee. She then blinked twice with pursed lips before she looked away back to her window.

"I'm fine." She answered timidly.

I nodded in response. "Should we just drop by the hospital so that we can make sure that you are alright?" I asked and that made her look at me with fear in her eyes.
