CHAPTER 35

CAMEVIRLY's P.O.V.

"Calling all passengers of flight BT0613 please proceed to Gate 7 for boarding. All Passengers of flight BT0613 please proceed to Gate 7 for boarding. Thank you." A female voice boomed on the airport's audio system.

"That's our flight. So have you made a decision my dear sister?" Cameron asked. I looked at him wearily. I am getting tired of making decisions that affects our family and  compromise my freedom and happiness.

Honestly, I want to run. I don't want to get tangled up with a loveless marriage. I don't want to ruin my life but with our current situation, it is not just about me anymore. I can't be selfish.

No matter how we look at it. My family and  thousands of our employees who will suffer a great loss if I won't agree on this marriage. I sighed in resignation before I slowly stood up from my seat and took my bag with me.

"I'm going home." I answered resolutely and  started walking towards the boarding gate.

"Came, are sure about this? Is this your final answer?" My brother asked  behind me.

I slowly turned arpund to face him and smiled sadly at him. "I really don't have a choice, do I?" I asked while trying hard not to cry.

I saw him bow his head and shook his head before he looked at me sadly. "I'm sorry, Camevirly, but you really don't have to do this. I am giving you a chance to escape. I know you like that man." Cameron spoke with sadness in his eyes.

I froze when the image of Kim Namjoon popped out in my mind and I felt something prick my heart. I tried to shook the picture away.

"She loves him, Cameron." A female voice echoed besidr me. My gaze traveled to my best friend who slowly walked up to me with sorrow in her eyes as she held my hand in hers.

"Camevirly, again, I am sorry for hiding the truth from you but all I wanted was for you to finally live your life happily like you always wanted before the surgery. Actually, Cameron and I agreed to it since we thought that the past isn't important anymore." Jen looked at Cameron as if they are communicating telepathically.

"Please Came, live for yourself and be happy. You deserve it." Jen's last statement made my eyes water.

"But what about our parents? What will happen to them? What about our company qnd our employees?" I faced Cameron and expected a decent answer from him but he didn't say anything and just sighed.

"Look, Camevirly. I didn't tell you the truth because I thought it would be better for you. But seeing you like this, I know I was wrong. I think it's about time that you made a decision for yourself, for your own happiness. You have imprisoned yourself with the dreams and expectations from our parents, then and now. I think you need to be free." Cameron stepped a little closer and touched the top of my head and stared deep into my eyes.

"I want you to be happy, little sister." He smiled at me and I felt a tear fell from my eyes. Before, I was so mad at them for keeping secrets from me but now I can feel their genuine love for me and I appreciate that.

I closed my eyes and bit my lip still thinking about the choice I have to make.

"Maybe, he can help you decide." Cameron whispered in my ear.

I opened my eyes and wondered what my brother was talking about but then I followed his line of vision and I saw a tall guy with bucket hat and face mask a few feet away from us catching his breath.

A breath hitched in my throat. I can feel my heart started pumping faster. Wait, he looks familiar! Is it Kim Namjoon?
