CHAPTER 31

CAMEVIRLY's P.O.V.

I looked around at the table where Hanbin is sitting. His arms draped over the shoulders of the two girls seated beside him. I felt irritated with the way he stares at me. I know he is gloating. As if I am affected. He can all the girls in this club and I still won't care. I glared at him band rolled my eyes in irritation. I was about to turn around and leave Jen when one of the boys spoke up and took my attention.

"Hi, my name is Bobby. Please have a seat and join us, Camevirly." I looked at the guy who talked and I paused for a minute to remember because he looks familiar. Where could I possibly meet him? I tried digging my brain but unfortunately, I can't remember.

I shook my head and tried not to show any emotion as I looked at the guy who introduced himself as Bobby. "No, thank you." I replied politely as I grabbed Jen's elbow.

"Jen, please let's go." I whispered in her ear but she removed her elbow from my hands and looked at me pleadingly completely ignoring my plea.

"Can we stay for just 30 minutes, Came? Please? This is my only chance to be with them. Look, I may never have a chance like this in this lifetime so, please." My bestfriend begged. I stare at her puppy eyes and I couldn't find myself to resist her. I think this is the only way I could repay her for all the favor that she did for me.

I stared at Jen for a few seconds still contemplating the consequences of our action when another guy spoke.

"Yeah, stay with us for a while. Hanbin hyung's friends are our friends too. Do you like some fries?" One of the good looking guys with big round eyes offered. I raised my eye brow at him when he mentioned the word "friend". If only that guy knows the truth behind my true relationship with Hanbin.

"Oh, yes! I love fries!" Jen replied enthusiastically. "Actually, Came also loves fries. Right, Jen?" I felt a nudge on my rib that made me glare my supposedly "best friend". I looked at her and all I saw was her pleading eyes.

I closed my eyes and sighed in resignation as I slowly nodded in response.  In a split second, when I opened my eyes, I saw Jen already seated next to the guy who offered some fries.

"Actually, I am quite famished!" Jen muttered as she picked up a piece of fries and ate it slowly. I scoffed in disbelief. I can't believe that my best friend will sell me out that fast in front of this idol group. I rolled my eyes at her. Sometimes, I do question myself why do I have her as my best friend.

"So, How about you, Came? Are you leaving or are you staying?" Hanbin suddenly asked cockily and that made everyone look at him except for the two girls who are shooting daggers at me with their eyes.

I froze while contemplating. I know I can't leave Jen here but can I really endure the presence of my arrogant fiancé?  I looked at Hanbin and saw the smirk playing on his lips. I think I know what he is playing at. Well, maybe I could play with him, too. I flipped my hair and smiled at him before I squished my way to the vacant seat next to the guy who introduced himself as Bobby.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" I asked flirtatiously at Bobby and saw how his face flushed.

"Ahm, No! No.... not a problem." He stammered. I smiled victoriously knowing that I flustered this man beside me. I guess Jen's effort in putting make-up on my face is worth it.

I saw Hanbin kicked Bobby in the shin which made Bobby wince but he just raised his eyebrow at him and didn't say anything. I can guess that he invited me here just to humiliate me in front of his friends/co-workers and make me see and realize how he is not fit to be my fiancé. God! If only not for my parents, I would've broken the engagement a long time ago.
