CHAPTER 17

CAMEVIRLY's P.O.V.

Flashback....

"Came, what else do we need to buy?" My sister asked but I didn't reply because my attention was caught by a cute and fluffy teddy bear sitting alone on the display window of a gift shop. I stopped in front of the window of the gift shop to have a closer look. The cute white teddy bear is wearing a pink hat and a pink ribbon. Pink was never my color but somehow it looks cute with the bear. I felt my heart beat louder. Right there and then I knew in myself that I want to take it home. I was busy admiring the Stuff toy when suddenly someone called my name.

"Camevirly!" I turned my head to the direction of the voice and saw my sister running towards me angrily. 

"Yah! Have you forgotten that your with me? You should have called me! I thought I lost you!" She was clearly irritated but I just smiled at her and excitedly point at the cute teddy bear in front of us while completely ignoring her furious look.

"Look, Kim! Isn't she so cute! I want it! I want it! I want it!" I exclaimed while clapping my hands excitedly. I just can't contain my excitement. I look at my sister but she look at me sadly as she shook her head. 

"You know we can't. Mom and Dad will not be happy. You know that they don't want us to spend money on non-sense things." She stated as she glanced at the teddy bear in front of us. 

I frowned at her statement. Non-sense thing? Is she referring my cute teddy bear as Non-sense?

I huffed and stomp my feet in defiance. "How could you say such thing? A Teddy Bear is never a non-sense thing! Look how cute and cuddly she is. I know that she can bring me comfort whenever I feel down." I insisted but she just shook her head and took my hand and pulled me away with her. 

"Stop being stubborn, Came. No means no." She muttered. 

I pulled her back which made her stumbled and then she glared at me. 

"Bu.. but... can't we buy it and keep it a secret from them? I have some savings, I could use it.." I tried to convince her but she looked at me sternly. I sighed. I know that look. She will start a never ending discussion about the waste of money and blah blah blah. When she noticed that I stopped talking she started pulling me away. 

I look back and saw my teddy bear getting smaller and I feel sad. I think I left my heart in that store. 

"Are you hungry?" My sister asked and I just shook my head and pouted my lips while we keep walking around the mall. I heard her sigh. 

"I'm hungry, let's go grab some lunch." She looped her arms on mine and lead me to the food court. 

After settling on a table for two, she asked, "What do you want to eat?"
