"How dare she? She is my Best Friend. How can she snatch him from me. I shouldn't have listened to him. Shit... Nanz baby... You shouldn't have fallen in love. Now your little heart will have to break. I seriously love you Nanz... but what's mine is mine. Be it you or Manik. You can't snatch him from me & he can't snatch you from me. Don't worry I'll lend you my shoulder to cry on...", Alya was talking to herself psychotically. She had witnessed the part where Nandini declares her right over him & left from there in anger.

Nandini was about to leave the place when Manik stopped her.

"Day after tomorrow we have the meeting with the Khurana's. Be ready by 10:00 in the morning... We'll leave together." ,He reminded her.

"Hmm..", she just hummed & left from there.

Her mind was reeling with the thoughts of whatever happened just now. How can she lose control over herself like that?

Whenever Manik is around... It feels like her heart & mind is ruled by him.

She needs to stop messing up. This is not right. She can't do this to herself as well as to him. She can't give him hope only to break his heart later. She needs to get a grip over her emotions.

Manik was too exhausted to attend any classes. He was about to start his car when his phone started ringing.

"What?", He asked as soon as he lifted the call.

"What is this Manik... This is how you greet your elder brother? Show some respect baby.", The  person on the other side spoke.

"Just come to the point Maddy.", Manik rested his head over the steering wheel. He had completely forgotten that he was expecting a call from his brother.

"Mom said that you refused to lend such a small amount to me from your huge bank balance.", He asked in a fake innocent voice.

"10 lakhs is not a small amount Maddy. And tell me what do you need that money for. I'll give it to you once I'm satisfied with your reason.", Manik said firmly.

"Listen... Both of us know that eventually you will have to give me the amount. Because apparently my little brother does not go against Mom. So why make it complicated haan?", Maddy chuckled sarcastically.

"Do whatever you want I'm not lending you any money till the time you don't give me a proper reason. And about Mom.. then it wasn't her who got you out of jail just 3 months back. So I will handle her my way. Now either tell me the reason or I'm hanging up.", He warned.

"Fine... I'm organizing a trip to New York for me & my friends.", He said shamelessly.

"Really now? Do I earn for you to spend it on you & your stupid friends? I had really hoped that you would say you want to start up your business or something.", Manik said sarcastically.

"Will you stop preaching me? I'm hanging up now... If you don't transfer money in my account by the time I reach home then you can directly speak to Mom."

Manik hung up without a word.

Nandini came to the jam room. Only Cabir was present there. She went towards him & settled beside him.

"Where are the others?", She asked him.

"Mukti has a very special class with someone. You understand right... Special class? I have no idea about Alya & Dhruv just now went to the library. But you tell me... Where are you coming from."
