"What the hell were you doing there? She is Khurana's daughter for God's sake. And you were showing your attitude to her?", She asked him as they reached near the car.

He opened the car door ignoring her rants when she banged the door shut making him stop in his track.

He leaned on the door waiting for her to continue.

"Stop ignoring me. I'm asking you something. What were you doing there?", She asked him.

"What was I doing? Making a deal I guess?", He answered having a confused look.

"Do you think we are in a position to argue with them? They are doing a huge favour on us by giving us this opportunity. And you were all ready to kick that out.", She barked.

"Stop taking it as a favour in the first place. It's not like we got this with someone's recommendation. They saw our talent & selected us. If you bend down to them in the beginning itself then they will be making you dance according to their tunes, whether you like it or not. They will keep you legally bounded with that contract."

He pushed her aside & settled inside the car. She huffed & sat beside him.

"Are you really trying to challenge the Khurana's? She is Mr. Khurana's daughter... I don't think she would be that dumb to not think through her own clauses.", She tried making him see her point.

"Don't worry... She is as dumb in business matters as you. She wasn't even able to answer a few straightforward questions about the deal.", He replied with a straight face.

"What the hell? You are comparing me with that Bimbo?", Nandini charged at him making him smile sarcastically at her.

"Tell me you were not about to sign those papers without reading & I'll apologize for comparing you two.", He smirked.

"Of course I am not that stupid. I definitely was going to read it.", She protested making him raise his eyebrow at her.

"Really? Then why did you picked the pen as soon as you took the papers in your hand?", He asked making her tongue tied.

"If you are so smart then tell me what about Mr. Khurana? It's Soha who is dumb not him. What if he backs out?", She asked crossing her arms across her chest.

"I have a feeling that Soha is too desperate to make this deal happen. She won't let him back out. I just need to know why. She is not even interested in the business then why would she want this deal under her.", He said thoughtfully.

"Because she is interested in you.", She said gritting her teeth.

"What rubbish? I don't remember meeting her ever in my life. And I don't forget faces easily.", He frowned.

"If you didn't notice then she was making sly advances towards you throughout the meeting."

"I don't believe this. She was just another flirt.", He shrugged.

"What if I prove it to you? She is really interested in you. That's why she is after this project."

"Don't bother... You should focus on your date instead. I'll figure this out myself.", He gave her a tight lipped smile making her shut.

So he had decided to taunt her at every given point now.

She kept quiet not wanting to get into another argument with him.

He quietly drove her towards her home & left without a word.
