Childe was walking along the aisles of the bustling Liyue street. Today, Zhong Li had a commission and could not join him.

It was then, he noticed Qiqi. The poor girl was aimlessly walking around the bustling streets of Liyue. He could immediately tell that she was sad by how she was just floating about the streets, face even blanker than before.

"Hello little one~" Childe greeted as he scooted over to her. "What are you doing?"

"Ah. Hello." Qiqi returned. Emptier eyes swept his features, before they returned back to the aged bricks on the path. "... Qiqi misses Foa."

"Ah, I see." Childe commented, and quietly accomapnied the zombie child.

Together, they strolled the streets, both lost in their own world. Soon, they reached the port.

"The sea is... big." Qiqi started.

"Yes, I agree." Childe mused. Then, his thoughts drifted. "My family... We are only seperated by this sea, yet I cannot sail them. I cannot see them. I cannot tell them i miss them..."

"..." Qiqi listened. "Sister... comes from the sea. She feel... calm next to it, yet... it was the one that... swallowed her whole."

Childe hummed.

He knew little of the strange girl that Qiqi adored. He couldn't find out anything about her past, so he was curious about it. It excited him- he felt like as though he was tracking down a trrasure obscured behind a veil of hidden secrets.

Although...

He gazed wistfully at the setting sun. Qiqi closed her eyes, and focused on the sount of the lapping waves.

The wild carressed their hair, and carried their hopes away.

Childe hoped to be with his family.

Qiqi hopes to be with Foa.

'I miss you.' Both of them thought. Each of their heartfelt wishes were silently conveyed through the wind and the ever-moving sea.
