The next day, Qiqi and Hi Tao followed Foa around like baby ducklings.

To repay the two adorable children, Foa treated them to a good meal at Wangshu Inn. Another reason would be because, she needed to gather some herbs and loach pearls in the vicinity.

She ate heartily, and tucked the two girls to bed. Once they fell asleep, Foa quietly sneaked out to the top balcony.

With mirth in her voice, she spoke, "I can feel you drilling holes into me for a while now. Step out, please."

Just then, the small breeze teased her back, followed by a silky deep voice.

"Who are you?"  Sunset gold orbs peered curiously, warily, at the lady before him. Green tattoos trailed down his right arm, as his robes swayed in the wind.

"Want to guess?" Foa asked.

"..." His eyes narrowed into slits, as he peered down at her. He then spat, "A god."

"Indeed." Foa replied.

"No wonder the voices... They're quiet now." He uttered.

Xiao fought alongside Rex Lapis, and watched Liyue build up, brick by brick. He saw time tear his master's heart apart, as well as rip his friends away from him. All too soon, the heavy and sole burden to eradicate evil was left to him.

The evil karma seeped through his skin from countless quiet battle, nestled and built up in his bones, clouded his mind and tortured him every day. The only time he felt so at peace, was when the Anemo god played his flute a long long time ago, and when he recounted the memories of a bygone past even longer in history.

Now, it seems that the woman before him could do the same.

"Hm..." The lady before him mused. "Seeing someone in pain isn't something... I like very much. So I'll give you this."

It was a loach pearl and a starconche. She then placed them near her pale lips and blew into them gently. Soon, the two items shimmered a pale hue of blue and she passed them to him.

"Take it. They should starve off the noise for a while." She told him. "You can come to Liyue and find me if they wear off."

With that, he pick up the shell, and looked around effortlessly for another. He placed both of them in a small, lime green pouch, and sneakily hung them at the doorknobs of Lumine and Foa quickly.

Although Xiao didn't like coming to the noisy city, a small pouch would always be found at Foa's doorknob every year.

Sometimes, Foa would also hang small trinkets and items dusted in a light shade of blue, in a deep ocean blue pouch, there as well. As always, they would be empty the very next day.
