The sky was only black. The streets were still, and not a single person was in sight. The Liyue city in the day and in the night, was worlds apart.
Foa quietly walked on the same stone paths that she has taken a few days ago. Albeit different from the familiar city she knew well, she too admired the serenity and tranquility of a much quieter Liyue.
Only when she walked by herself like this, she would realise how bizarre her life is. In the past, foa would often spend her time curled up in a ball, and hidden in the darkest depths of the sea, where not even light could reach and touch.
Yet, now...
As Foa neared Bubu pharmacy, she could barely make out 2 human silhouettes, waiting for her at it's entrance. With a smile that could put all the flowers in spring to shame, Foa dashed up the unnecessarily long flights of staircase, and embraced the small zombie child.
Bai Zhu let out a small chuckle. "I told her to rest, but Qiqi insisted on waiting for you here."
He then beckoned the two ladies into the warm pharmacy. "Come on in. It's cold at night."
The whole time, not once did Foa let go of her precious hold on Qiqi.
