Still kakashi POV:

He woke up to the sound of the outer door banging open. He looked down at the little form in his arms; she was still asleep.

Sitting up slowly (because he didn't want to wake her) he waited to see what was happening. He didn't realize that she was now awake after he sat up.

"Get up you little sh*ts" there was a man barking at them from the other side of the bars. Sakura jolted up-right and stared at the man with fear in her eyes. Still clinging to him she scooted backwards; the man responded with a growl. Walking forward he opened the door and walked in. Immediately Kakashi was up and removed his Hitai-ate revealing his sharingan. The man looked confused because he was supposed to just a normal 10 year-old.
And it was common knowledge that the Uchihas all had dark hair and the sharingan was their kekkei-genkai, so he couldn't be an Uchiha.

Kakashi didn't give him a chance to wonder what was happening. He put the man in a Genjutsu and grabbed Sakuras hand. Running from the cell he yelled "run and escape! Don't look back! Go!"

Sakura POV:

Without her consent, Sakura's feet started moving and she somehow found herself in front of the door that led to a hallway away from the dungeon.

She ran and ran and saw a door that looked like it led outside. She was almost there when someone grabbed her hand and twisted her around. She screamed as pain shot up her arm.

"Where do you think your going you little b*tch! Get back in your cell"

Trying to get her hand out of his hold, which only pissed him off. Big mistake. He slapped her so hard that there were tears running down her face. Next thing she new she was hit in the back of the neck. Then she saw blackness.

Kakashi POV:

Looking at Sakuras back he knew he could now fight with out worrying for her. The second she ran through the doors more men came running in. It was him against 5 others.

Crouching down he started his hand signs. Just as the men realized what he was doing he finished and they were engulfed by huge water bubbles. Standing up he ran to the door but stopped instantly when he heard a scream. Her scream. 'Sakura! I'm coming hang on!'

He bolted from the dungeon and didn't stop to fight the men. Instead he took out his kunai and hit everyone of his targets in the chest. He ran down a hallway and stopped when he saw a man pick up Sakura.

She looked unconscious but he didn't know if she was dead. Pure furry blazed through him and he stalked toward the man holding her. The next thing he knew the man was dead and Sakura was in his arms.

'Huh? What just happened? When did I kill him?' He mulled over these questions until she shifted.

He let out a sigh of relief because that meant she was alive. Leaving the building with her in his arms he felt the presence of his men.

"Storm the building! Don't kill if you don't have to just restrain them. Collect any information you can and bring them in!"

"Yes sir!" The ANBU replied in unison.

"Do you want me to take her to get medical care?" Asked his second in command, Obito.

Kakashi shook his head and said "I'll deal with her. You lead the mission from here on out. I'll see you back at HQ" with that he left his friend and ran into the forest. Only to run into Shizune who looked as if she was coming back from a mission.

"Shizune!"

"Oh. Hi Kakashi"

She knew it was him because he was the only ANBU that didn't wear the regular mask. He wanted his own mask and no one fought him on it.

"Shizune can you please take this girl to Tsunade-San. I don't know if she's hurt and she might need medical attention. But also tell her that she doesn't have a family and that she needs a home."

Kakashi told Shizune as much as he knew. She gasped when she found out that the girls father gave her up without hesitation.

"Kakashi, do you want Tsunade-San to adopt her? She is looking for an apprentice and if
this girl passes I don't think she'll mind taking her in. Even if she doesn't pass."

"Yes. Please ask her that."

Handing Sakura over to Shizune, he kissed her forehead through his mask and stepped back.

As Shizune smiled and continued to jump from tree to tree, he looked at her back and felt pain his chest. Then he realized what it was.
He missed Sukura. He missed her so much already.
