*500 years later*
Sakura's POV:
It was a sunny day out, and there was a nice breeze.
The wind went up my yellow Polka-dotted dress. The breeze was also beautiful on my bare arms.
It cooled me down, because working on our farm was very hot work.
I decided to take a break, and go back inside.
As I walked through the door, with the basket of vegetables I had been collecting, I placed it on the table to take off my sun hat.
Kakashi was sitting on the couch, reading his Icha Icha.
You'd think that after 500 years, he'd be bored of reading the same book. Or that the books would've broken down from the amount of usage?
Nope. He had the printing press reprint it. So know master juryas books live on, even though he died centuries ago.
I went and hugged 'Kashi from the back. Kissing him on his cheek, I asked what his plans were.
"Finish the book." Was his only reply.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"That's like the 1,000th time you've read that."
"Actually it is 2,352nd time I have read this and when I finish it, it will be the 2,353rd time I have finished the series."
I just smiled and shook my head at him.
I was gonna offer to go on a walk with him, when my cellphone rang.
"It's May! I haven't spoken to her in a while!"
I squealed in delight.
"May! How are you?"
"I'm ok mom. Don't worry. I was calling to see if you and dad wanna come over for summer break. The kids wanna spend time with you, and honestly me and John need a break."
I laughed.
"Sure honey, we just have to arrange everything first, but we should be there before next week."
We talked for a few more minutes and then we exchanged goodbyes and hung up.
I ran to the basement, and pulled out our suitcases.
Kakashi came down stairs after a few minutes to see what happened to me.
He smiled at the sight of me, struggling to reach all the way up on our shelves for the last suitcase.
Coming up behind me, he grabbed the suitcase.
I felt the blush creep onto my cheeks.
He knew it too, that's why he kissed the back of my neck through his mask.
I still didn't understand why he wore his mask, when absolutely no one knows who he is.
No one knows his history, or what his family looked like, but it makes him feel better so I stopped asking.
He turned me around and caged me in with his forearms.
Resting his head on my forehead, he muttered "I had plans for our spring, but I guess I'll be pushing those off till the summer."
I lightly smacked his chest, and barley managed to say "o-oh we have lots of time together. D-don't worry."
I could tell he was smiling at what I said.
Ducking under his arms, I grabbed 2 suitcases and bolted upstairs, hearing his footsteps on the stairs I knew he'd catch up to me soon.
He wasn't upset that we were visiting our daughter, but if we visited all our children, we'd be traveling for about 5 months.
