Sakura POV:

*3 months later*

'Hot. Why is it so damn hot?!'

It was the middle of summer and it was so very, very hot.

I had off because it was so hot that people weren't doing stupid things, so they only needed enough staff for the ninjas on missions.

I was planing on stopping by and say hello, as well as to hang out with Ino and Hinata but I'm not going anywhere.  Plus those 2 have their kids to worry about and this stupid weather.

So with my off day passing by, I just lay on the couch and stair at my manicured nails.

I'm glad I went yesterday to get my routine done, even though I had like absolutely no time to do it.

My routine consists of getting my eyebrows, legs and other parts of my body waxed. I also get a manicure along with a pedicure and a massage. This happens like once a month.

If I had gone today I would have died of heat, and would have never made it to the shop.

I looked at the clock and saw it was only 11:37 a.m and it was already really hot. I got off the couch and walked to the window and opened it.

'Ahhh!'

There was a strong breeze to go with this hellish heat. The breeze more than made up for the heat. I felt like putting on a sweater even though I knew that I would get heatstroke if I did.

Reveling in this new information, I stayed by the window until I thought of something.

'Why don't I go out?'

Kakashi wasn't here because he was with Itachi and they were dealing with something important. And my plans to hang out with Hinata and Ino were canceled in my head, and I don't want to bother them since their kids will be a handful'n a-half.

Grabbing my kunai holder and my money pouch I left the apartment and headed towards the market.

'It's time to splurge'

Kakashi POV:

It was hot outside without the wind, but the news Itachi told me chilled me to the bones.

" after we found out a couple of months ago that he was leaving with bundles of cash in bags and coming back empty handed, we sent a team out to see what he was doing. We found a house in a nearby village and also some other things. These things are a little disturbing."

"Itachi tell me what you found"

My jaw was clenched so tight it hurt.

"We found a cave that looks to be attached to the house. We also found something that rebels  a dungeon that seems to have every and any weapon you could think of. The team exploring it was comprised so they didn't see the whole cave, but we have enough of an image. Along with the disturbing cave that has a dungeon, he also seems to have people on his pay-roll. Kakashi she's in danger."

"Thank you Itachi for helping me"

My voice was a calm I did not feel inside. Inside I was a giant, intense mess of other emotions. I wanted to keep her safe with all I had, but I also wanted to beat the living shit out of her father for what he did and what he's planing.

Standing up, I started pacing around the room.

"We will find him and stop him. Don't worry."

About a month and half ago he caught onto us, he knew that we knew he was taking part in illegal activities, so he sold everything and left town even though he was ordered to stay by Tsunade.
