School has only just finished for the year, and I'm looking forward to a nice holiday away from Vic and Kellin, the boys who bully me, and the shitty teachers, who think they know absolutely everything. Let's be honest here, my school is an utter shit-hole. There is nothing good about it at all. I guess you could say that about any school though...
As I walked out the school gates, I noticed the sky turning grey. I decided to walk to the bus stop and take the bus home, because I don't really want to be getting sick from the rain. If I did end up getting sick, my parents would probably think I have cancer or some shit, because I don't get sick. At all. I only remember getting sick once in my life, when I was around twelve, and I got a cold.
When I got to the bus stop, I sat down and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I turned it on, to find three unread messages from Jon.
Hey! Meet me at the park after school - Jon :P
Aaron, where the fuck are you? Haven't you finished school yet? - Jon :P
I give up, I'm going home - Jon :P
I unlocked my phone and messaged him back.
Sorry! I had a detention... Sport teacher said that I need to participate more, or I'll get a detention. And I got a detention - Aaron
Oh... Don't worry about it, I'm at home now anyway - Jon :P
Okay - Aaron
I slipped my phone back into my pocket, just as the bus arrived. It started raining a few minutes ago, and I was glad that I wasn't walking home. The bus was crowded, as usual, but there was still quite a few seats left. I found a seat at the back of the bus and walked over to it. When I got to the seat, I noticed that there was someone sitting in the seat next to mine.
"Um... Can I-" I asked.
"Yeah, sure!" The boy replied, and moved over, so I could sit down. "Um, do you go to this school?" The boy asked, pointing out the window, towards the school.
"Yeah, sadly." I told him, as I sat down.
"Oh... I go there now, and I just wanted to know, so maybe we could like hang out or something, because no one else likes me for some reason..." He told me. "Oh, I'm Ben, by the way."
"I'm Aaron, and welcome to the shit-hole, where everyone treats you like you're a pile of shit." I told him, laughing at the last part.
"Hey! Not everyone treats you like shit! Look, I'm being nice to you!" He told me, sounding offended.
"Yeah, only because you want to be my friend." I reminded him, rolling my eyes.
The rest of the trip was quiet, and I was grateful that neither Vic or Kellin were on the bus. They were the two people I'd have to warn Ben about, when we get back to school, in two weeks. But for now, I'll leave it. The bus stopped at a bus stop in front of the record store, along with a few other shops that I visit when I have spare money.
"Are you getting off?" Ben asked me, breaking the silence.
"No, next stop." I told him, as I continued to look out the window.
"What's your phone number? Just incase we want to catch up during the holidays or something." He asked, holding his phone out to me. I took it and put my number in. "Pass me your phone, and I'll put my number in." He told me, grabbing my phone from my hands. When he finished he gave my phone back, and I put it back into my pocket. "I have to go now..." He said, in a disappointed voice.
"I do too, remember?" I told him, as I stood up, grabbed my bag, and started to walk off the bus, Ben following me.
"What street do you live in?" He asked.
