"Aaron?" Mum asked me, as I walked into the kitchen through the front door. "Is that you?"

"Yeah..." I replied, sitting on the bench.

"Where were you?" She asked, walking into the kitchen. "Get off the bench!" She snapped, noticing where I'd decided to sit down.

"I was at Ben's house." I told her, sliding off the cold bench.

"All weekend?!" She shouted, causing me to jump.

"Uh... Yeah, I-uh thought it would be fine. Sorry, I'll tell you next time..." I replied, looking at the floor.

"No you will not." She yelled, causing me to jump back in fear.

"H-how come...?" I asked, eyebrows stitched together with confusion.

"Because you're not going next time." She explained, stomping off to her bedroom.

"What a bitch..." I said under my breath, begging to god that she didn't hear me.

I stood in the kitchen for a short while, "sulking" as my mother called it, until I finally decided to drag my lazy ass up the stairs and into my room.

My room is usually the place where I do all my sooking, much like other emotional sixteen year olds with their bedrooms, but to me, my room was special. It had a vibe about it. I've never been too sure what exactly the vibe was, but I knew for a fact it was something to do with the way I never felt alone in the small area I called my desk, and never once cried my eyes out in the middle of the night until I fell asleep. I guess most people would call it their "happy place", but that to me, sounded far too cliche for my liking. Besides, just because none of the things listed relate to me, it doesn't mean I don't sulk.

I sat at my desk for a while looking at the twenty different cd's I had collected this year. I turned my cd player on, grabbing the Avenged Sevenfold cd that I loved far too much, placing it into the tray of the cd player and waited silently for the music to begin to play. Once the music had started, I turned the sound up. High enough for me to be able to sneak out my window and not get caught. And that was exactly what I planned on doing.

Kneeling down on the ground, I looked under my bed for spare change, pushing old clothes out of the way when I found some. I sat upright, counting the money in my hand. There was a twenty dollar note and a few coins, altogether they added up to $23.50.

Grabbing my backpack, I opened the window and climbed out feet first. I sat on the ledge for a short amount of time, looking for a safe place to land below. Once I'd found it, I slid out completely and landed on the tree branch closest to my window. I wobbled slightly as I began my walk towards the trees trunk, I slipped suddenly, falling off the branch and onto the hard grassy floor below.

"Fuck." I murmured to myself, as I reached a saw hand up to my cheek. "Ow, ow, ow. Oh my god, its bleeding." I said to myself, as I stood up and began to walk into town.

After an hour of walking, I had finally ended up in Main Street.

Should I call Jon to tell him to meet me at the cafe around the corner, or should I just walk another block to the park? I asked myself, deciding on the first idea.

"Yo." he answered.

"Hey..."

"Where are you? I can here cars? Wait... you didn't sneak out again did you?"

I reluctantly explained to him what had happened, once I had, he told me to meet him at the cafe.

- (10 minutes later) -

"Aaron..." Jon sighed, sitting opposite me at the table.

"Look, I'm sorry, it's ju-"

"Aaron." He snapped, cutting my sentence short. "It's okay. I needed to talk to you anyway..."

"About what...?" I asked, suspicious.

"Well, you know how I'm bisexual right?" I nodded. "yeah, well, I have a boyfriend."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down. You have a what?"

"A boyfriend. Don't worry, it's not late notice, we only just got together. Like a week ago..."

"Holy shit, Jon. This is great! This is really great. I'm happy for you man. What's his name? Is he cute? Is he nice?"

"Chill out, bro. One thing at a time, please. His name's Ian. And yes, he's cute, and he's definitely nice." Jon explained.

"Good. I don't wanna have to be dealing with you if you get hurt." I said jokingly.
