Yashin & Jiyu's Ultimate Adventure!

Study Sleepover with Sandwiches [2]

With a cling, clang & click of Yashin's front door, the girls went inside.

Yashin's room had a nice dark red carpet with pink walls & a small yet shiny white couch that Jiyu sat on. Grabbing her laptop & placing it on the small coffee table, Yashin started her research on 'Shadowy evil figure' and then on 'magical crystal'. "You think there's gonna be any relevant search results with that? Not exactly an everyday search, Yknow..." Jiyu said, questioning Yashin's method. "Maybe not but it's worth a try!" She exclaimed with a concentration on the search engine. "Let me try!" Jiyu said while taking the laptop from Yashin & starting to type. About 2 minutes later, Yashin came back with a plate of sandwiches as Jiyu happily grabbed one, continuing her typing, scrolling & clicking. But then, Yashin noticed a thumbnail of a black shadowy figure that matched the one they saw. "Hey, we found something! Nice!" Jiyu excitedly exclaimed. "I'll read it; 'For centuries, a mysterious black shadow figure has been roaming the land, in search of relics to regain its form, and to likely use them for unspeakable crimes. It is unclear as to why, however, we have found out the most basic information. This figure appears female but holds a masculine form. The shadow seems to refer to itself as 'Itazura''." Yashin stopped there. 

"Itazura huh... At least it has a name!" Jiyu laughed, almost choking on her sandwich. After making light of their situation, Yashin let lose a happy smile. After a few hours of searching for information on the crystal or more on Itazura, Yashin & Jiyu has gotten quite tired of their troublesome day. "Cmon, We can order pizza & you can stay the night if you want," Yashin suggested to Jiyu with a smile. Jiyu, returning the smile, said "Sleepover time! And yeah, that sounds great! Oh! Can we get extra pepperoni?" Jiyu's tail swayed swiftly from side to side as Yashin, with the phone already to her ear, gave Jiyu a thumbs up in agreement with her request. After figuring that Jiyu can sleep in Yashin's large bed & getting their pizza, the girls sat down with Jiyu taking off her jacket, untucking her shirt and removed her shorts and shoes. They made themselves comfy and decided to talk & eat until they felt sleepy. "So... Where are your parents this time?" Jiyu asked, dragging emphasis on the 'this'. "Well, Nowadays my parents work overseas so they come back a few times a month so I basically live alone. So yeah... They're outta town." Yashin explained as she took a bite from the hot cheesy slice she held. "Ohh... Doesn't it ever get lonely? 'Specially without me!" Jiyu once again asked, holding back a laugh at the last sentence. "Well, I never really thought of being lonely... I knew I was alone & don't really have any friends out here but you, so I guess... I'm not sure... But yes! It's especially lonely without you!" Yashin looked down, gloomily before looking back up to continue Jiyu's mini joke. "Awh, Well don't worry! I, The great Jiyu! Will officially be your new roommate!" Jiyu jokingly exclaimed, excited by the delicious pizza and sandwiches on the same crazy day. "Heh... Personally, I'd love it if you'd move in with me! But what about you? Don't you still live with your older brother?" Yashin returned the question. "Well, yeah but he's always at work! We live in a different forest from the one near here so I couldn't even visit him if I wanted to. But I'm sure that he wouldn't mind me moving outta our small house!" Jiyu said, reminiscing of her brother's workaholic attitude and their dusty, broken down, small shack that they called a house. "Won't he be worried though?" Yashin asked, concern in her tone. "Nah... He knows I get caught up in adventure so he's never worried! Letting his little sister leave the nest is the least of his worries." Jiyu smiles, reassuring her longtime bestie.

Yashin caught herself staring at Jiyu's ears... They looked so soft, fluffy, as they always did! And so- 

"Are you okay...?" Jiyu asked, one eyebrow lifted in confusion. 

In embarrassment, Yashin stuttered again "Y-Yeah! I'm f-fine!", "Your stuttering though... Tell me, please!" Jiyu begged, dropping her pizza slice back inside the pizza box. "F-Fine! Your ears...." Yashin looked away from Jiyu as Jiyu held a confused look. "Wha..." Jiyu held Yashin's cheek, bringing their eyes to meet. Yashin staring into the golden amber eyes of Jiyu & Jiyu staring into the emerald green eyes of Yashin. "Do you want to touch them?" Jiyu said, with no emotion except a smile across her face. "H-Huh...?" Yashin stuttered out. "Do you wanna touch my ears? You were staring at em' after all! You tend to do that a lot, and I know you're always too embarrassed to ask." Jiyu smiled as she kept her sweet stare. "Okay..." nervously, Yashin reaches out and petted the soft blonde's cat-like ears. Jiyu let out a purr, almost like when a cat gets a pet from the ears. In embarrassment, and she doesn't get embarrassed a lot, Jiyu looked away and Yashin stopped petting her ears to smile at the cute reaction. "Sorry! It's a cat reflex! Don't think anything of it!" Jiyu exclaimed, sort of annoyed at her own embarrassing reaction. "It's okay! It just caught me off guard and was actually kinda cute!" Yashin described, trying to reassure Jiyu. Jiyu let out her tsundere side in saying "I'm not cute!" In an angry tone. There was an awkward silence until the alarm clock rang for 11 pm. The girls just kept talking more casually as they cleaned up the leftover pizza & they got into bed and said their goodnights. "Night Jiyu," Yashin said before yawning & closing her eyes. Jiyu pretended to already be asleep until she noticed Yashin had finally gotten to sleep and whispered "Night Yashy...". Little did Jiyu know, Yashin was in fact still half-awake.... and smiled.

~ The Next Morning ~ 

Jiyu woke up after hearing the alarm go off at 9 am & noticed that she was alone in the bed... She had decided to get her shoes and shorts back on and rolled up her shirt as she later found Yashin in the kitchen, making some easy bacon & eggs. "Morning Jiyu!" Yashin smiled, greeting Jiyu. "Morning..." Jiyu yawned after greeting her friend. Jiyu's nose twitched as she smelt the delicious bacon being prepared. "Enjoy! Sorry if it's not that good but it's the best I can do!" Yashin smiled. "Are you kidding?! This is great! I'm probably biased in not having bacon in ages but still!" Jiyu muffled excitedly as she had a piece of bacon ready to eat. "I'm glad ya like it! So what's the plan for today?" Yashin asked, almost rhetorically. "Maybe we could steal a spacecraft and go on a crazy adventure to defeat Itazura and return that weird crystal!" Jiyu excitedly threw her hands in the air & started to daydream about having an adventure from sci-fi or a magical girl anime. "That's a little too crazy for me... But maybe we could borrow a spacecraft from the station just a couple of minutes from here & then maybe find someone who could help!" Yashin suggested. "Not as fun but it's an adventure nonetheless so count me in!" Jiyu gave her adventurous smile of excitement as Yashin simply smiled at her excitable friend.
