Alex was very glad that they are on New Genesis, as after a few days, the group was able to recover completely from the fight against that Shuma-Gorath. The hospitality of New Genesis was even amazing, as they were instantly welcomed to New Genesis without any sort of racial tension appearing.
Alex had some form of normalcy when he played around with the kids of New Genesis, along with Rex, M'gann, Wanda, and Ben, with the New Genesis kids playing with his Grandpa Max. But Firestorm simply was helping the New Genesis build a ship to go to Apokolips, and Knockout was simply God-Knows-Wherever. However, right now, the group is at the ship, and is building it with as much speed as they can. In the meantime, Alex is sitting with Bekka, discussing the plan of what happened when they get to Apokolips, and the dangers that will lurk there, should they ever arrive.

Bekka sits down, as she speaks to Alex.
"When you take me back to Apokolips, you should be careful. Apokolips is a very diabolical place, and there are New Gods there that will attack anyone that they know don't belong with the New Gods, such as Kalibak."
Alex turns around, and spoke out.
"You are talking about the eldest son of Darkseid?"
Bekka nodded, as she spoke out.
"Orion may have become Ruler of Apokolips, but Kalibak is still the commander of Apokolips' army. And besides, before Darkseid has killed him, he gifted him with a new power, as well as enhancing his physical body. So he isn't going to be easy when you're going to fight against a son of Darkseid, Alex. Especially since he's the eldest son that Darkseid has."
Alex looks down, and spoke out to Bekka.
"Well, than I wish us all luck that we don't have to fight against him. Will he have someone to fight for him?"
Bekka nodded, as she spoke out.
"Yes. On Apokolips, Darkseid made a special group of New Gods called the furies. They are very dangerous in fighting, and are forever loyal to Darkseid. They may follow Orion, my Husband's orders on some missions he can give them, but they are not totally loyal to him, and are always loyal to Darkseid. And Knockout...she too was once one of the furies."

This caught Alex by surprise, as he spoke out.
"Knockout was a fury? Why is she on our side, then?"
Bekka shrugged, and spoke out.
"Even I don't know. But what I do know is that she had sent herself to Earth after she had to escape her torture from the person who once lead it, and she hid there ever since. I guess she must really have liked the Earth a lot."
Alex looks down for a bit, before he shook his head and spoke to Bekka.
"Well...regardless, if the furies hate her, and we are next to her, than we have a very large problem on our hands. So we do need to get ready for when we fight them."
