Kagome
Aside from the Kaede incident, it has been a very uneventful week. Me and the gang looked around with Kaede for the one that had hurt her, and whom was apparently searching for me. No such luck. We looked as far as we could before I had to go back home for yet another test. As much as I love being here with my friends and Inuyasha, I still have an education to worry about. After a whole week of searching, I finally went home. By the time I arrived, I was able to spend that night cramming in studying for the test I had bright and early the next morning. No telling how good I did though, still waiting on the results to come back. I hope that I did well, despite all the craziness going on in my life right now.
I was reading at my desk in my room when I heard a knock at my window. I turned around to see Inuyasha. I walked up and unlocked the bedroom window. "Hey Kagome, how was your test?" He asked me, as I closed and locked it back up. "Fine, I guess. I hope I did well. I've been a nervous wreck since I turned it in to my teacher." I walked back over to my desk and sat down facing Inuyasha, who was now laying down comfortably on my bed. Whenever he came over, he also acted liked like he owned the place, which in all honesty though, I really loved. I love that he feels comfortable with me and my family enough to be this way in our home. He was part of this family as well after all. It's just too bad my other friends couldn't be here and meet them as well.
"I'm sure you did great Kagome! You always work so hard. There's no doubt you aced it." Inuyasha said encouraging me. I sighed. "Thanks Inuyasha. You can be really supportive when I need it. I love that." I walked over to him and planted a light kiss on his cheek. Then walked back over to my desk, sitting in my chair.
"You look tired. Any luck on finding out who it was that hurt Kaede?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Afraid not. But we will find whoever it was Kagome, I promise you that. I won't let him get anywhere near you. Anyone who wants to hurt you, will have to get through me first." He walked over to me, and put his hand on my cheek tenderly. He bent down and kissed my forehead. "I love you, Kagome. You know that, don't you?" I put my hand over his, still on my cheek, and looked deep into his golden eyes. "I do. I love you too, Inuyasha. With all of my heart and more." He gave a little smile then.
I couldn't help but notice the little bit of sadness in his eyes. He was worried, this I knew. But I wanted to help him forget about the possible danger lurking in the shadows. "Inu-yasha?"
"Yeah Kagome?" "Let's get back. But before we do, why don't we cook some yummy snacks for everyone before going? I could even bake brownies, a nice little treat for everyone to enjoy."
"Sounds good, Kagome. Let's do it."
He gave me a little kiss on the lips, then we were on our way downstairs to start cooking together.
