Kagome's point of view
I went outside to check on Lady Kaede, she hadn't come inside and I was getting worried. When in doubt, check it out. I made it to the forest when I heard a stick break, I dared not move. I had my bow in my hand and the other ready to grab an arrow. I quickly turned around to see no one there. I must be imagining things. I continued walking but suddenly I heard it again. This time I wasted no time, I had my bow and arrow out and ready to shoot when Inuyasha was 2 inches from my face, making me jump backward and scream.
He put his arm around me to balance me. "Heh, I knew I was scary but I didnt think I was 'that' scary." He said smirking and laughing at me. "You scared me you jerk! I thought you were a demon or a bandit or something. Dont sneak up on me." He began laughing at me. "Aww dont worry, its just me, your boyfriend." He stepped closer to me, his face an inch from mine. 'And I wouldn't ever hurt you.'
I couldn't speak. He was so intently close to me it was hard for me not to kiss him..
He kept his eyes on mine. We were silent for a few moments when his lips leaned into mine, and I closed the space, closing my eyes.
The kiss was passionate and slow. I could feel how much he desperately loved and cared for me with each passing second. I didnt want this moment to end. And then we heard footsteps approaching us.
"Hey guys! We thought you would be here." Miroku said as he, Sango, Kirara, and Shippo approached us.
Inuyasha kept his arm tightly around my waist holding me to him. "Yeah uh, Kagome was out here and I thought I would join her. You know, for company." "Oh right for 'company' right." Miroku replied. "Miroku, you better choose your words carefully. Anyway Kagome, what were you out here for?" I finally remembered. I completely forgot! I came here looking for Lady Kaede! "I was looking for Kaede. She never came back and she should've been by now." I was becoming more and more worried as I thought more about it. What if something happened to her? "Dont worry Kagome, we'll help you look for her. She couldn't have gone too far right?" Sango said.
