"Once we play at the cultural festival, we can then audition!" Toyama-san said excitedly.
wait... hold on...

"What?" Me and Hanazono-san said at the same time.

"What do you mean, Audition? To what and where?" I flatly asked, utterly curious about this.

"I haven't told the others about this yet, but we're gonna audition to play at Space!"

"Huh?! Audition at space?!" I exclaimed in both surprise and disbelief. "And you didn't even tell Ushigome-san and Ichigaya-san?!"

"It's supposed to be a surprise." Toyama-san said, sheepishly whilst rubbing the back of her hair.

"I can obviously predict that your surprise won't be the way you wanted it to be." I muttered slightly forming a wry smile.

"I was told that we're not allowed to perform there unless we pass." Toyama-san said. "The owner got mad at me the other day when I walked out of the stage."

"Yeah, considering that stunt you've pulled. There is no doubt you'll get scolded by Owner herself." I said to her.

"Even so, everything looked so sparkly from up on the stage, my heart was racing! That's why I want to play live at Spac-"

"That's impossible." Hanazono-san suddenly said, catching both of our attentions.

"Huh?" Toyama-san turned to her with a confused expression plastered on her face while Hanazono-san showed a serious one.

"I don't think that's possible." She said. Causing Toyama-san to widen her eyes upon hearing that statement.

"W..What do you mean, it's not possible?" Still she had to ask as she didn't get the slightest clue as to why she said that it is impossible to audition at Space.

Well.. I wouldn't say it's impossible to audition... But to what Hanazono-san is stating here is that passing Owner's audition at Space won't be as easy as walking in a park.

How do I know this? Simply because I did mention that I've been at Space before. No, not at that time with me, Ichigaya-san and Toyama-san. It's waay before I even met those two.

In retrospect. I've seen a couple or more bands of the previous generations auditioning at space. While the results of their music play are rather good. However, the judging has to be coming from Owner herself. And just by casually playing the music in front of her won't be taken as a consideration.

In simple terms. You can't pass the audition by playing it casually.

...

Hold on... why am I saying all of this inside my thoughts instead of just explaining it to Toyama-san?

Before I could even take those words out of my mouth, it seems that Hanazono-san has beat me to it. "Why don't you two come with me to Space for a while."

I raised a brow as I pointed to myself. "Wait... me as well?" The noirnette girl just nodded her head in response. I felt Toyama-san's hand on top of my shoulder as she gently nudged me. Turning to her direction, I can see the look she's giving to me. The kind of look that utterly says; "Pleeaaaaassseeeee."

And no... I ain't giving in.

"No... It's best if you should go." I said to her. "Besides, it's your band and you need to know this in order for you to know what to do when Auditioning at Space... I also am not any part of

it... so..."

"You really should come to." ...and that came from the other girl herself. Feeling her hand on top of my shoulder as well as she gently nudged me.

Are you kidding me now?

"Like I said, I have no part in any of this! So, no!" I said as I crossed my arms. Cheeks slightly puffed.

"Onegaiii!" Toyama-san nudged me as she pleaded. In response, I shook my head followed by a "no"

"Oh, Come on." Hanazono-san softly said as she nudged me the same way Toyama-san did...Are you seriously kidding me right now?

I just faced the tram window as Ignore them. Obviously showing them that my answer is still a
'no' .

But unfortunately. They didn't stop themselves from pushing me... Each doing it respectively. One on each side of my shoulder they keep on saying 'please' while I try my best to be nonchalant about it.

I'll just keep quiet and let them do whatever do may do to me...
