[ Weeks Later... ]

[ Location ] [ Yamabuki Bakery ]
[ First Person POV - Katsuhiko ]

It's been weeks after summer break started. And as everyone would expect, it is quite in fact the most sunniest month.

Well, not entirely...

With this in the way of ones particular life, one would take the opportunity to dive into their moments of indulgence. To embrace the given days to resting their minds after all the cramming sessions of school.

Well, at least... A partial amount of those people would often think in that sort of manner, and would surely, most definitely forget about the homework they need to finish.

Most groups of friends would tend to do it at the near end of summer break. Like a cliche or something. Whilst me and my group didn't quite do so.

For one, I did my homework first before I could start goofing around for the rest of the month. Whilst the girls... They're at Ichigaya-san's house at the moment, having a group study together... Or as my mind would think.

I would expect the blonde herself to be acting all smugly for the fact that I know she has already done her homework way ahead of them. As what you would expect from the top student of Hanajo.

While the group is busy, I am currently at my part-time job for who knows how many times now this month. Maybe everyday?

I dunno, I lost track....

I was by the shelves whilst a tray in hand, as I placed all the baked products into their respective slots.

Melon pan goes here.... Doriyaki.... Here....

Taking a moment to whiff out the scent from the wonderful baked battered heaven right before me. I stepped back and let out a content sigh. I guess that's everything for now. All I need to do is to man the counter!

Making my way back, I took every moment to enjoy the song I am listening to at the moment. The smile on my face could literally define my mood.

"Itsuka wa... Doko ka de... Wakari aeru toki ga kuro no?" I hushedly sung the song on it's chorus. This happens to be the fifth time on repeat today now.... It's quite catchy...

I was glad that I am always updated!

"Good work today, Katsuhiko-kun." There standing by the entrance way to the kitchen is the big man himself. Mr. Yamabuki, to be precise. Holding a grin on his face whilst eying my somewhat proudly. "I know I said this for like who knows how many times now. But I am really impressed of how decent you could make all these."

I gestured a shrug, whilst holding a grin of my own. "What can I say? I am quite used to this since it's become a hobby of mine."

"Where did you learn all this, If I may ask?" Mr. Yamabuki asks in curiosity.

"I learned all this from my sister." I answered, resiting my palms on top of the counter."She used to bake sweets before and I would always watch her do it because it looked like fun."

Mr. Yamabuki nods to me in understanding. "Then, can you invite her here? I would like to see you two compete against each other in baking!"

He says that with a smile, in which I responded by flinching from the idea. "I could not imagine going against my sister in that sort of activity..." I replied, scratching my cheek. "Besides, even If I want to... Unfortunately, she's been busy at work these days."
