[ First Person POV ] [ Katsuhiko ]

Mid summer, though despite the season, it was a perfect day. I was on my way to town to meet up with someone. Already got the gift I am going to give her. And I've been practicing my lines if ever I find the right moment to say it to her.

Finally, by the station. I got off. Greeting me was the sunshine and the smell of the summer breeze. It was pleasant. And then something else had caught my eye. Something white and blue.

When she had noticed my presence, I noticed her shark tail swaying. Her face beamed in delight as she ran up to me.

"Katsuhiko!~" Just within a few meters reach. She opened her arms and jumped onto me to give me a loving hug. I returned the hug.

"Hey there Gura-chan!" I replied. Cupping her soft white cheeks. Her ocean blue eyes gleamed in delight as she stared towards my own. I can for some reason feel her tail swaying more profusely, which I assume she is excited for this day.

"Alright love birds. Calm down." Another voice came. I turned my head and found out that Gura did not come alone.

"I hope you don't mind Ame coming along though." Gura said with a seemingly innocent grin. The blonde detective who's named Amelia Watson, chuckled in amusement.

"Hey there little guy." Ame said, sticking her tongue out playfully. "I know it's your special day today Gura. And I appreciate that your boyfriend here goes out of his way to take you out on a date. But I'm just trying to make sure you two aren't going for a hybrid intercourse." Amelia replied, letting off a soft hiccup.

I sighed, letting go of Gura whilst she did the same. "Honestly... That's what everyone thinks everytime I hangout with the opposite gender..."

"Still, I'm just trying to make sure. If it happens, I'll ground pound you."

"Don't you only do that to a certain amount of people?" I raised a brow quizzically.

"Who says I can't do it to you?" Amelia said with a smirk. I merely shivered. Not wanting this to progress any further.

"Anyways." I took Gura's hand. She in return grasp onto mine. "We'll only go to a few places, and that's it." I try to reassure the blonde girl. She gave it some thought, then just within a few moments, she giggled and nodded.

"Aight." She replied, approaching us as she stood on my left side. Gura being on my right.

i was honestly expecting her to stand beside Gura. But whatever. "So? Where're we goin'?" Gura asked in anticipation.

"You'll see." I said. Even though the things that I've planned isn't that much. I still hope it's enough to make her happy.

Just minutes later. With Ame in tow. We went off to places that are pretty much common. You can name them... Like anime stores, the arcade, an aquarium... Is it weird for a shark to be looking at another shark in a different position?

Was that question even necessary for me to ask? I mean, I am dating a shark girl who's bestfriend is a goblin-cackling Tantei Opera milky holmes ripoff and their other friends who- despite being idols - Has some quite questionable occupations.

Yeah, I should just stop thinking about it.

After stopping by to buy some figurines... and Gura happily giving me her new nendroids and other stuff that are related to her. She basically knew how much I love her.
