Cassie's POV
I turned around on the porch, looking at the house one last time. It's currently around eleven o'clock in the evening. After I went upstairs, I got all the things I thought I would need for 'my fun trip'. I even took my wand with me while I can't use it. But just in case you know.
"I don't know if I will ever come here but you were a good house for me" I say towards the house. I don't even know why I am talking to some bricks. "Goodbye"
I turn around and walk of the porch. While thinking where to go. My friends don't live very close and I have no clue how to get to their houses. I guess I'll just follow my intuition.
It's the end of August, so luckily it wasn't really cold out. Still it is dark as fuck.
I had walked miles through the forest that was close to my house. When I was a child we used to go to this forest a lot, but whenever I was here there was light out. Maybe it was a mistake going into the woods. To be honest I have no idea where the hell I am. It's pretty quiet too. The only sound you can hear is some movement from the animals around you.
I saw a light in the distance, maybe it is a house and I can ask where I actually am. Great plan. As I got closer the trees around me started to lessen. I was eventually in a big field with high grass. It felt familiar but didn't know why.
I heard a sound behind me. I turned around and came face to face with red eyes. I tried to focuse and try to figure out what the eyes belong to. Holy fuck that is a wolf. It came closer and I started to back up slowly trying to stay clam.
"Nice doggy"
I am officially the dumbest person ever. 'nice doggy' that will definitely help you.
The wolf stopped with slowly approaching me and attacked me. I jumped back to dodge the claws. I turn around to the house I was walking to and sprint as fast as I can.
"Why me! Fucking hell!" I scream into the sky.
The wolf starts to chase me and obviously that stupid animal is faster than me. I can feel its claws in my back. I fell to the ground and started screaming out in agony. I try to crawl away but it's no use. The next thing I felt were the claws in my upper thigh. My clothes are ripped and I had cuts all over my body.
The next thing I saw was a black dog. This one didn't try to eat me alive and went straight for the wolf that was attacking me. As soon as I felt that the wolf was gone I tried to stand up. Despite my aching body I ran as fast as I could towards the house. Everything started to blur and I couldn't hold my own weight anymore. I reached for my wand that was in my sock.
And didn't think twice before I shoot two red flairs up the air in the hope that the people in the house would see it. After that all my energy was gone and the world went black.

Narrator's POV
Two red flairs shot in the starless night. The wolf and dog were gone now. The only thing in the big fields of the Burrow was the limp body of Cassie.
The flairs that lit up outside the Burrow got the attention of the Weasley family who were sitting in the house.
"What is that?" Fred asked to no one in particular.
George walked over to the window to take a better look.
"It looks like fireworks." He says over looking his shoulder to his twin brother.
"Why?" Fred asks
"Mom, you should see this." George called for his mother who was in the kitchen making tea. "Mom?"
Molly saw the light from the kitchen window and immediately knew what it meant. She rushed over to the back door. She grabbed her wand "lumos". The tip of the wand lit up, so she could search in the dark where the flair came from.
"What is mom doing in the fields?" George asked Fred
"Don't know maybe we should check what she is doing." Fred said standing up from the couch making his way to the front door.
They made their way to their mother who had already found the bloody body of Cassie in the middle of the field. She crouched down next to Cassie checking to see if she was still breathing.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Fred asked from a distance not seeing what she was crouching over.
The voice of her son startled her. She looked up seeing the shocked expression on the twins faces. Fred and George couldn't believe what they saw. Their best friends body not moving and covered in blood in the middle of the night in their garden.
"Cassie?" George crouched next to his mom.
"Is she..." Fred didn't want to finish his sentence. Cassie can't be dead.
"No, she is still alive but barely. We need to get her inside." Molly looks at her two sons.
George lifts up Cassie, trying not to hurt her more than she already is. He carried her inside with Fred and his mother right behind him.
"Bring her up to our room and lay her in one of our beds" Fred says when they get inside.
George does as his brother says and takes her upstairs, to their room. While Molly went to get the medical kit.
"Will she be alright, mom?" Fred asked quietly trying not to make too much noise.
Molly had already started taking care of Cassie's wounds. It was a terrible sight to see. A girl they all cared about being barely alive. There were cuts all over her back, legs and arms. Some were still bleeding violently While others had already dried up.
"Yes, she'll be fine. If you two can get some clean clothes from Ginny for her. I will take care of her wounds, alright?" She turned around to give the twins a reassuring smile.
Fred and George left Molly alone as she had asked.
"Everything will be alright, Cassie" Molly says softly caressing Cassie's cheek.
