"Jay, are you coming with us? Let's go!". Heeseung shouted.
"I bring my car, you can go now. I will follow you". Jay said.
Jake's car started to go, the kids at the back were waving at me, I waved back with a smile.
"Uhm... About what?". I walked out the gate to talk to him outside, he then followed me.
"About what happened the other day". I simply nodded and avoid his gaze.
"Go on". I said emotionless.
"I'm sorry about what happened in the cafe, I forgot that we were supposed to meet there. It's just that... there's an emergency". I finally looked at him.
"Emergency with a girl?". I whispered to myself.
"What?". He asked.
"Oh nothing, just continue". I slightly smile.
"Like what I've said, I'm sorry. I want to finish this project quickly. On Monday, let's talk about it at the same cafe, don't worry I will be there this time. I already saw the ideas you suggested". He brushed his hair after he said.
"Okay then, I will see you on Monday". Our eyes met, my heart beat began to race faster.
"Thank you, also for the delicious food, especially the cookies". He said and get in his car.
I looked back to avoid him seeing me blushing, I didn't expect him to say that.
I calmed myself down and touched my cheeks. I entered the house and bid goodnight to my parents.
When I entered my room I saw the Jacket, sht I forgot again to give it back. I get it and put it back in my closet. I will bring it on Monday.
I freshen up and go to bed.
The next morning, which is Sunday, I already feel my temperature kick high. Someone knocked on my door.
"Yes?". I weakly said and groaned.
"Mom said where do you want to go today?". Daniel entered my room.
"I don't know, I don't feel good today". I still answered weakly.
"What happened?". He put his hand on my forehead.
"You have a fever Noona! It's really high". Daniel quickly got out of the room and called our Parents.
They quickly go to my room. I can see that they're all worried.
"I already called Doctor Shinwa, they will be here any minute". Dad said.
"How are you?". Mom asked, then sat on my bed.
"What did you do, Luna?". Mom added.
"I don't know, I think this is when I got soaked from the rain the other day". I tried to remember what happened for the past few days before I became like this.
"Why don't you eat first?". Mom asked.
"I don't have an appetite". I answered.
"Then at least eat some soup. I will make it quick, just stay here and rest". I forcedly smile at my mom.
"Let's leave Luna alone to make her rest". Mom dragged the two boys out of my room.
The doctor arrived, they're our private doctor but she's also a friend of my Mom.
"You need to rest for now and drink medicine. I will monitor you for a couple of hours". Doctor Shinwa said that made my parents let out a sigh of relief.
I'm just laying down on my bed the whole day, I don't have an appetite.
The next morning I still had a high fever that's why I didn't go to the school. I texted K and Yannie about what happened.
I'm getting bored since I'm just sleeping and laying down. I want to do something but my body won't cooperate.
Later on K and Yannie visit me since my fever is not contagious as long as we are in the open area.
I got shocked when I saw Jay at their back, I looked at Yannie and K.
"He heard us talking about you earlier". Yannie said quietly.
"He said he wanted to check on you". K added with Yannie.
"What are you doing here Jay? You don't have to, and we can move the meeting to the other day". I said when I met his eyes.
"I'm worried about you". He's avoiding my eyes, he keeps on looking around the garden.
Yannie and K looked at us suspiciously. I give them a 'what' face.
"I think we don't need to worry, you looked fine Luna". Yannie raised her eyebrows up and down.
"We will go now to give you two some private conversations". Yannie pushed K to walk away.
"We'll see you at the campus! Bye Luna take care!". Yannie waves while pulling K quickly.
I stand up to stop them but they are already out of my sight. The two of us just sat quietly, it's awkward.
