After we eat, we go back to the pool area. I'm not in the mood to swim so I just slipped my foot in the water while watching the boys and Yannie swimming.

"Come on Luna! Don't be a killjoy, Let's swim". Jake yelled.

"Later! And for your information, I'm not a killjoy, bummer!". I yelled too.

"Noona, let's have fun besides it's my birthday, please?". Jungwon pulled my hands to get up.

"Okay, okay". I gave up and stand up but-

"Waaaahh!".

I shut my eyes and wait for my butt to feel the floor. Next thing I knew someone catched me on my waist and holding my arm. I opened my eyes and saw Jay trying his best to hold me tight, our eyes met.

I don't know what is it, but my heart started to pound so fast, my stomach felt the butterfly effect. His soft hand holding mine, what is happening to me?

"Are you alright?". Jay spoke softly, I went back to myself and get up, he let go of my hand and his hand on my waist.

"U-uh y-yes, yes... I'm fine". I put my hair behind my ear, my cheeks feel hot.

"Noona, be careful". Jungwon spoke.

"I didn't know there's empty pouch of junk food on the floor". I nervously chuckled.

My heart still can't stop from beating so fast, I feel like any second my heart will just go and explode.

I go inside to change my clothes and go back to them, avoiding Jay. I know he saw it, the way my cheeks get red, it's so embarrassing.

I stepped in the pool and went to Yannie, we just kept on talking until midnight came.

We all get into the guest room and change our clothes. Yannie is my roommate together with Daniel and Jake. We're going to sleep in the bed while the two boys are on the extra bed on the floor.

The three of them are now asleep, I get hungry and sneak out the room. I saw Jungwon's Mom, I walked towards her.

"Hi Auntie, Uhm... Can I get a cake?". I asked, shy.

"Our Luna is getting hungry". Both of us laughed.

"Just get whatever you want in the fridge and you can use the microwave if you want your food warm". I nodded eagerly and smiled at her.

She went back to their bedroom while I walked towards the fridge. I'm busy finding something that I can eat when someone covers my mouth with a hand.

"Mmm!". My heart jumped, I looked back to see who it is.

"Just joking". Jay said timidly.

"That's not funny! You almost gave me a heart attack!". I whispered.

"Whatever. I'm sorry, okay?". I rolled my eyes and get the food.

"You want?". I asked him, he nodded.

"Then go and get yourself". I walked away and went outside, I heard footsteps following me.

I put down the plate with the cake on it and a cup of water on the table. I looked up and saw many stars.

"Wow...". I said in amazed.

"It's a beautiful sky, just like you". My cheeks went red.

I heard it properly, this is awkward honestly.

"Are you that numb?". Jay said then sat down beside me.

"Pardon?!". I said in confusion, putting food in my mouth.

"I like you, Luna". My jaw dropped, I just looked at him without saying anything.

How can he manage to say that with his straight face?

"Hey are you still here?". He chuckled, waving his hands across my face.

"H-huh?". I looked at him dumbfounded.

"I said I like you, I want to court you". He repeated, still with his straight face.

"B-but why me?". I'm stuttering.

"Why not?". I was speechless.

"I don't know either, I just woke up and my heart doesn't stop beating fast when I'm near you or when I'm with you, especially when it's just the two of us. My mind always thinks about you. There's no specific reason". He said, leaning on the chair.

He suddenly looked at me, he met my eyes.

"Is there a specific reason for you to like you?". He added, my head automatically shook saying no.

I still can't get over what he said. I can say that his mouth doesn't have a filter, he says what he wants and what he feels.
