After I finished eating, I got my drink. Although Jay buys so much food, I guess we will give it to the street person.

Jay started driving again, the whole time we just stayed quiet. No one bothered to talk, and it's so awkward you know.

We finally reached our destination, we parked and found Nicole, who is our participant for the interview. I don't know her but Jay suggested her since he knows her and it fits her to our topic.

"Hello, Nicole!". I looked where Jay waved his hand.

Wait-what! That's the person I saw at the bus, the time when Jay ditch me at the cafe- ugh! I remembered how long I waited for him that time.

"Hello Jay, and Uhm... Luna?". I just stood there in surprise.

"Luna". Jay nudged me. I moved forward.

"Aah yeah, yeah I'm Luna. Nice meeting you". I extended my hands to her.

"Nice meeting you too!". She smiled and shook my hand.

She's so pretty, I just want to look at her the whole day. I will never get tired by just looking at her.

"He,y are you really okay? I've been calling you but you're just ignoring me". Jay said.

"I'm sorry, I'm just amazed by her beauty". I shyly whispered and blushed.

Nicole switched her gaze from me and Jay back and forth. She looked confused.

"Sorry about that Nicole. Can we start now?". She nods and gets inside the cafe.

We find a quiet place so that we can focus on the interview. We started asking questions. Eventually, we finished the interview.

"What do you want, Nicole?". Jay asked.

I just stayed quiet and looked at the notes I took. I don't want to interrupt them. It feels so awkward.

"What about you, Luna?". I looked up to him.

"I'm fine, I'm still full". I said and went back looking at my notes.

He nodded and went to the counter, I feel that Nicole is staring at me. I looked up and smiled at her.

"Jay doesn't stop talking about you, don't tell him that I tell you that, he will definitely shoo me away". She laughed, god! I'm so whipped.

"I bet he said bad things about me". I chuckled.

"No, no, no! That's not what I meant. He said that there's someone he likes and he wanted to court her but he's nervous that she would not accept it". She moved closer to me.

"And that's you! I mean when I saw you earlier, I can already tell why he said all that". She doesn't stop smiling.

"To be honest, I don't think he's serious about it". I looked down.

"It's not like that, he really loves you. You don't have to be worried, I know Jay is serious about you". She held my hand and caressed.

"I don't think so, yesterday he said that he wanted to meet my parents but he never showed up". I let out a sigh.

"You mean yesterday? Like this sunday?". I nodded and looked confused.

"Yeah? Why?". I asked.

"He's been busy these days, especially on the weekend because they have to practice for their upcoming performance this coming Saturday. It's a huge competition". I just looked at her then started blinking.

"He can-"

"I can see that you guys become closer when I'm gone". I got cut off when Jay arrived.

They started eating while I'm making myself busy taking notes. A lot of thoughts are running inside my head.

After they finished eating, we left the cafe and got ready to go home.

"Thank you for today, Nicole. We really appreciate you and thank you for your help". I said and smiled at her.

"It's nothing, I'm glad to help you anytime, especially you, Luna". She suddenly gave me a hug.

"Don't tell Jay about it earlier". She whispered while hugging me, I nodded.

"I will just see you around Luna! Hey Jay say hi for me to Auntie". She said, waving her hands and then walked away.

I waved my hands as she got into her car. We also get into Jay's car.

"I'm glad the two of you became close". Jay said out of nowhere.

"She's so beautiful and kind, how do you guys know each other?". I looked at him waiting for his answer.

"Well, she's my cousin and-"

"Wait! She's your cousin?!". My eyes widened, all of the time we've been there they never mention that.

"Yeah, why?". I shook my head.

"Nothing, continue". I said and let him continue.

It's not nothing! I just told her about what I feel about Jay courting me!

"As I was saying, she's my cousin and we're really close to each other". He finished.

After that we again stayed quiet, I didn't bother to talk again. It's getting dark outside, it's already 6:30 PM.

"Hey, are you still mad at me?". He quickly looked at me and turned his gaze to the road.

"Why didn't you come yesterday?". I didn't answer his question and asked another question.

"I forgot to tell you that we have practice and when I told our coach that I have an important meeting he didn't let me go". I just nodded.

"Are you really serious about me?". I asked, not showing any emotion.

"What?!". He shifted lanes and parked his car in the side road.

"Why did you say that? Look, Luna...". He held my shoulders and looked at me straight in my eyes.

"I like you- no I love you. I'm really serious about you, I want to be with you, I want you". I don't know if I will cry or what.

"But it doesn't seem like that, like if you meant it". I got off from his grip and wiped the tears started to fall down.

"Luna, Luna, look at me. Do you really think that I'm not serious about you?". I nodded and sniffled.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel like that. I promise I will show you that I'm worth it. I will meet your parents tonight". I quickly looked at him, furrowed eyebrows.

"What?". I respond and sniffles.

"Don't cry please? I will never ever break my promise again". He moved closer and hugged me while caressing my head.

"Don't cry, please... I hate seeing you crying. I'm sorry...".
