After we talked Jay started driving again, well assured that the awkward atmosphere lessened. I finally breathe now that I say what I feel about this thing.

We got off when we reached our house, we went inside.

"Where's Mom and Dad?". I asked when Miss Chewon greeted us.

"They are not home yet, do you want me to call them?". I shook my head.

"No, no, that's fine. We'll just wait for them". I said.

"Jay, sit here while we are waiting for them". Just in time Daniel walked downstairs.

"Oh! Jay-hyung". Daniel exclaimed.

"Hey, can you accompany Jay? I will prepare for our dinner". I walked towards Daniel and whispered, he just nodded.

I walked to the kitchen and told Miss Chewon what dish they will prepare while I'm preparing the plates and utensils since our Parents will probably be here any minute.

After I finished I went back to the living area where Jay and Daniel were watching TV. I sat beside Jay.

"Are you okay?". I asked Jay when I saw him pale.

"A- ah- ah ye- ah. Yeah, I'm fine". He started stammering, I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you sure?". Daniel peeked at him to see his face.

"I'm nervous". He whispered to me.

"You don't have to do it right now, I don't want to pressure you". I said.

"N-no, I want to do it now. I will prove to you and to your parents that I deserve to be with you". He caressed my hand on top of my leg.

"Chewon where's- oh! Hello Sweeties!". We all looked at the door revealing my parents.

Jay quickly gets off his hand and stands up then bow to my parents. I want to laugh at him but I don't want to discourage him.

"Hello? I saw you the other day right? What's your name again?". Mom said to Jay.

"Hello Mrs. Kim, I'm Park Jay". Jay greeted my parents with full manners.

"Hello Jay, Uhm... are you here with Daniel?". Jay quickly shook his head.

"No Ma'am, I'm here t-to a-ask y-y-you i-if I can c-court Luna". Jay finally finished his stammering response to my parents.

"I don't understand you, Jay, can you repeat?". This time Dad asked Jay with lightly authority in his voice.

"I'm here to ask if I can court your daughter". Jay finished and let out a sigh, the surroundings became quiet.

"Mrs. Park the food is ready". I want to thank Miss Chewon for breaking the awkward situation.

"Let's eat dinner first". I pushed Dad while pulling Jay on his wrist.

We started eating, beside me is Jay while Dad is at the center and Daniel and Mom are sitting across from us. Daniel keeps on looking at me since we are all eating quietly.

I fake coughed to call their attention, then nudge Jay's foot. He looked at me, he still looked so pale.

"Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim, I want to ask for your permission. I want to court your daughter. I will promise that I will protect her no matter what happens. I will make her happy and take good care. I will never let her feel alone. I will do everything to make her happy. Please let me court Luna, I will never disappoint you, I promise". My lips started to form a smile.

"Okay then.'' Dad said.

"What do you mean, Sir?". Jay asked, confused.

"You can court Luna, you talk a lot. We let Luna decide what she wants and we trusted her with her decision. Well, I can see that she trusted you". Dad said and chewed his food.

"Whether you will ask for our approval or not, our answer is yes too". Mom chuckled.

Jay looked at me feeling betrayed and humiliated, I gave him a peace sign. While Daniel is holding his laugh.

After we ate Jay bid goodbye to my parents, I walked him until the gate.

"You didn't tell me that it's not necessary to do this". Jay pouted looking at me.

"Yah! You didn't ask me, you suddenly said that you wanted to meet them". I finally burst out laughing.

"Stop laughing, I sincerely say all of that just so they let me court you". Jay didn't stop from pouting.

"I-I'm sorry, okay but it's your fault not asking if it's needed". I stop myself from laughing but I can't.

"If you don't stop I will kiss you". I automatically stop and straighten my back.

"Good girl". Jay jokingly smile and patted my head like a dog.

"I will just see you tomorrow, do you want me to pick you up?". Jay suddenly locked our hands.

"Yah! What are you doing?!". My heart beat so fast.

"Just answer yes or no". He didn't listen to me.

"No need, I can go by bus". I said and forcedly get off his hand.

"I can see that there's another car in your garage, why don't you use it? It's not safe for you to commute. Just come with me". He finally let go of my hand.

"You ask me then you don't accept my answer, great Jay! Just great!". I sarcastically remarked.

He laughed at me and got into his car, he opened the window and peeked.

"I will pick you up tomorrow, okay?". I bend down to level the window.

"Okay, drive safely, byeee!". I moved back and he started driving until his car vanished in my eyes.
