With a swiftness I had never experienced before, I catapulted myself from the comfort of the bed, landing gracefully on all fours. In that moment, my own nudity became insignificant, overshadowed by the overpowering scent of the she-wolf. My primal instincts immediately honed in on the abomination she carried within her.

Snarling fiercely, I could discern the rapid rhythm of her heartbeat, intertwined with the faint beats of the life growing inside her. The overwhelming urge to tear the life from her womb consumed my thoughts entirely. Advancing towards the closed door, I mustered every ounce of remaining strength to wrench it open. The door yielded, surrendering its hinge in the process.

On the other side, in the dimly lit hallway, she stood frozen, startled by the untamed look in my eyes. The undeniable evidence of her transgression was laid bare for all to see, and her trembling hand instinctively gravitated towards her bulging belly, realizing that it was the center of my attention.

"Cease, mate!" he commanded with all the authority of an alpha, but my wolf was bound to a path that could not be diverted. She should have stayed away from me, they should have kept her away from me. No mate would remain passive while another carried his progeny within her.

I didn't desire to kill this she-wolf, but my primal instincts were furious. Reason was foreign to him; all he knew was instinct. And his instinct told him that another wolf had claimed what rightfully belonged to him, carrying the undeniable proof within her. I snarled, baring my teeth at her. She snarled back, driven by the need to protect her young from the wrathful omega. I lunged at her, swiping my now claw-like hands towards her swollen stomach, only to be met with unyielding muscle. His golden eyes flashed, signaling his determination to shield his offspring. His instincts took control, and all he perceived was danger to his young.

My hands recoiled, stained with blood and flesh that would regenerate within minutes. I bared my teeth at him, wounded by his interference. My animal whimpered, acknowledging the protective stance taken by his mate to safeguard the she-wolf. In an instant, I felt the transformation overcome me. My fur enveloped my body as my animal tilted his head back and emitted a mournful roar, a sound that resonated with the sorrow felt by every wolf present.

Gazing at him, my alpha, my mate, I observed silently, allowing my primal instincts to take control. I bared my teeth at my mate for one final time, then lunged towards the window across the hall, shattering the glass upon impact. Though pain shot through one of my legs, it did not hinder us as we landed on the lush green grass below and sprinted towards the forest.

His alpha's call momentarily slowed us down, but I forged ahead, relishing the wind's touch against my fur. We were now united as one, our minds and souls intertwined. Yet, deep inside, I knew I did not desire a mate. I vowed to find a way to suppress my heat and resist the bond that was forming between us, even if it meant risking my own life.

I gazed out of the shattered window, a mix of shock and fury consuming me. Never before had I felt so provoked by a wolf of lesser stature, and my alpha instincts were not pleased with this challenge.

Behind me, Cherry trembled with fear. I swiftly turned, ensuring her safety. With him in heat, it wouldn't take long to locate him. The bond between us had already begun to form, and I could sense his presence.

His emotions were crystal clear - he didn't want me near. So, I waited, giving him the time he needed. I could feel him running, his thoughts open to me, his heart beating almost in sync with mine. The bond begged to be complete, to be whole, as waves of anger coursed through me like an enraged wolf.

Though I kept my emotions concealed, they were anything but dormant. The sensations he was evoking within me had an undeniable impact. I felt the bond stretching and expanding with every passing moment.

My instincts urged me to give chase. It was an intrinsic part of my essence, deeply ingrained within my very being. My thoughts were clouded only by the exhilaration of hunting down what rightfully belonged to us, the thrill of capturing our prey.

The overwhelming urge to sow my seed and claim my mate consumed my thoughts, causing a tremor to course through me. My primal instincts took over, my wolf eyes peering through, heightened senses on full alert, as I caught a whiff of his alluring scent in the air. However, my focus was interrupted by a voice.

"Camron, should I pursue him?" My beta inquired. Frustrated, I growled in response, still wary of the way he had eyed my mate the previous day. He raised his hands in surrender, tilting his head back to display his submission, appeasing me momentarily.

Turning away from them, I descended the stairs and walked out onto the back porch. Pausing for a moment, I closed my eyes, allowing his scent to guide me. Instinctively, I followed the bond and his unique aroma as I tracked down my mate.

The sweet scent of honey and freshly baked bread intermingled with an intoxicating, enticing aroma emanating from the west. A low growl escaped my lips as I muttered."Omega." His heat permeated the air, urging me to find my precious mate. "Run, my dear mate, run."

As my primal instincts surged, the deep bond between us transmitted the overwhelming delight I felt for his unwavering pursuit. Allowing the magnetic force to lead me, my human flesh swiftly transformed into a coat of fur, seamlessly embodying the essence of a majestic midnight wolf. With an agile leap from the porch, I embarked on an uncharted path towards the western depths of the enchanting forest.

Through the ethereal connection we shared, vivid images danced within my mind, projecting the sheer ecstasy of capturing him and asserting my dominance. The bond echoed his acquiescent response, as a faint whisper in the recesses of my consciousness dared me to try and conquer him.
