In my office, Cherry stood before the mirror, meticulously preparing herself to leave a lasting impression on her idol. Meanwhile, I sat in a commanding posture, fully embodying my alpha nature. My primary focus was the safety and well-being of my pack, as well as uncovering the whereabouts of the rogue creatures that had captured the attention of humans. I was determined to eliminate any threat to my pack without hesitation.

As I sat in my chair, reviewing all the information I had gathered about the enigmatic artist, Kyle, a tantalizing scent suddenly filled the air. Instantly, my hazel eyes transformed into a radiant golden hue, and a low growl escaped my lips. Intrigued, I lifted my head and inhaled deeply, trying to locate the source of the intoxicating aroma that had captivated my senses. The room became a chaotic whirlwind as I frantically searched, like a desperate man clinging to his lifeline.

"Oh my god, Cam!"

Cherry exclaimed, her voice filled with astonishment as she witnessed the transformation in my eyes.

"Why are you acting this way?" Cherry questioned, stepping closer to me. As her fragrance filled my nostrils, an instinctive reaction caused me to bare my teeth and snarl. She was obstructing my path to my mate, and I couldn't tolerate it.

"Please, calm down, Cam," she pleaded, unaffected by my warning growls. My mate was near, and Cherry's interference was preventing us from reuniting. Frustration surged through me, and a fierce growl erupted from my throat directed at the she-wolf holding my pup. Without hesitation, my hand transformed into a strong grip around her throat, bringing our faces inches apart.

"Know your place, omega," I asserted, my voice resonating with authority. "You will not stand in the way of what is rightfully mine. Do not question your alpha." The force of my words caused the doors to burst open, and my beta froze upon witnessing me in my half-shifted state.

"Oh, shit," he muttered, coming to a sudden stop."Alpha, please calm yourself... Your wolf is in control," his soothing voice resonated in my ears. In an instant, I let go of Cherry, watching her disappear into the depths of the ocean. My attention shifted to him, the one with the palest skin I had ever laid eyes on. His shoulder-length blonde hair only added to his captivating beauty. Our gazes locked, and a mischievous grin crept across my lips, causing him to pale in response.

"Oh, no way," my mate exclaimed, darting away before I could react. Without a moment's hesitation, I sprinted after him, determined to catch what rightfully belonged to me. I had to give credit where it was due; my mate was incredibly fast. I spotted him darting into an empty room and reached it within seconds. As the lock clicked on the other side, I came to an abrupt halt. Ah, so he wants to play, does he? A smirk danced across my face as I eagerly anticipated the moment he would submit to me. He would bear my pups, and I could already sense his desire for me behind that closed door, driving me to the brink of madness.

Leaning against the door, I inhaled his intoxicating scent seeping through the cracks. "Hmm, mate, you smell absolutely divine from out here," I teased, my voice dripping with desire. "I can hear your longing for me, your panting behind this door. Open up, and I promise to make it even better," I whispered seductively.

"Leave this place immediately, wolf! I can sense your heightened desire from within these walls, but I refuse to engage in any mating with you," my dear mate uttered as his scent grew stronger. Damn it, if I don't calm myself down, I might just break down this door to reach him this instant. My alpha instincts are going insane, consumed by thoughts of mating with our beloved mate and filling him with our offspring. Just the mere thought intensifies my desire, causing me to apply more force to the door, trying to pry it open.

"Alpha," my beta cautiously approached me, his voice filled with concern. "May I approach? I'm aware you're occupied."

"What is it, beta?" I asked, yellow eyes glinting as I focused on him.

"I-I can see that, sir," he stammered, clearly unsure whether to proceed or not. "But the humans who were with your mate, they're becoming problematic... They're curious as to why their star suddenly ran off, with you closely following."

"Well, you are my beta," I responded firmly. "Handle them..."

I could feel frustration building up within me, realizing that I wasn't prepared for a mate. Yet, if I were to find them, I knew deep down that I wouldn't let them slip away. However, I hadn't anticipated it happening at this moment. To make matters more complicated, my mate happened to be a well-known celebrity. Damn. As my mind cleared slightly, the haze lifted, allowing me to think more clearly. Thank goodness for that. Shit, I had nearly endangered Cherry's life in my desperate pursuit of finding my mate.

"How is Cherry?" I turned to my beta, running my hands through my hair as I let out a sigh. I took deep breaths, attempting to calm myself down.

"She's in shock... but she's doing her part, stalling the humans so they won't come looking for the two of you," my beta informed me.

"Alright, I'll go and fix this. But you stay here and guard this door. He doesn't leave, do you understand?" I said, looking deep into my beta's eyes, ensuring that he grasped the gravity of the situation.

"But Alpha, his show starts in just thirty minutes. If he doesn't perform, it will only raise more questions. There are countless TV stations and reporters eagerly waiting for him on stage," my beta urgently pointed out, gesturing towards the door behind me.

"I understand that, and he will perform. My mate and I just need to... have a little discussion," I assured him, pushing myself off the door and striding away from where I had been standing.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it," I muttered, anxiously pacing the room I had locked myself in. This was not what I had anticipated when I went up to speak with the alpha of this territory. As I had stepped out of the elevator earlier, my wolf senses had gone haywire, and the scent of fresh spring rain had wafted towards me. I turned to my assistant, asking her if she smelled what I was smelling, but she shook her head. I then turned to my sister, hoping that she would pick up the scent too, given our heightened wolf senses.

However, she too couldn't detect it. Suddenly, we heard growls and snarls echoing from the hallway in front of us. I exchanged a knowing look with my sister; the alpha was clearly upset about something, though we were unsure of what exactly. It was crucial that no humans witnessed anything they shouldn't, or we would face severe consequences from the council.

With the beta leading the way, we hurriedly followed him as we heard a loud crash and he sprinted towards a nearby door. I took off alongside him, silently instructing Mia to distract Katrina. Bursting through the door, we were greeted by the sight of the alpha tightly holding a pregnant she-wolf.
