.....
Wylan's POV
"Good morning, sunshine." Wylan turned around to see Jesper right behind him.
"Good morning," Wylan replied with a smile. Jesper jogged a little to catch up to Wylan. Wylan could feel the warmth that came from the chocolate colored boy as he reached his side. Wylan could feel his face turn deep red. Saints why can't you keep it together?
" Hey merchling, I didn't even say anything. Do I have that big of a effect on you?" Jesper asked, smirking. Wylan shot him a glare. Jesper chuckled looking at the floor. God it sounds like music. Oh my Ghezen! Wylan! Keep it together!
They reached their lockers, and started turning the lock. Wylan looked over at Jesper. The boy was busy putting books in his bag, still grinning. How could someone be that perfect? Wylan turned away when Jesper shut his locker.
"Hey Merchling, meet me by the entrance of the library at the end of 1st period," Jesper said, leaning in as he continued, "I have something to give you."
Jesper left to get to his first period class, leaving Wylan completely speechless.
......
Nina's POV
"Nina? Nina? HEY LISTEN!"
"For the love of Ghezen Inej, I'm not deaf!" Nina said, covering her ears.
"Sorry, but you weren't listening," Inej said, lowering her voice, "Everything ok?"
"Yeah, I'm just cranky today 'cause my mom didn't make any waffles!" Nina whined.
Inej rolled her eyes and laughed. "Of course she didn't." The girls walked in silence all the way to Nina's english class. There was still 5 minutes till the warning bell, and there was something bothering Nina.
"Inej," Nina started. Inej looked up from the floor.
"Yeah?"
"The plan... Are you ok with it?"
Inej stood there for a few seconds, figuring out how to word her answer. "It's definitly different from what Kaz has done before. I mean sure he's pulled off some robberies and so have we, but this time... This time the main person we're pranking is dangerous. I just know it."
Nina had the same feeling. The girls just looked at each other, knowing that both of them thought the same thing.
.....
Wylan's POV (Again)
"Hey scumbag! You know that saying 'third times a charm.' Yeah well the third time might just be the end of you!"
"Nina chill, chill," Wylan said, trying to come down a very angry Nina. He sent a apolegetic look to a very disturbed boy. The kid looked like he might just die right there. The kid ran three steps before tripping over a chair and face palming the floor. Ooh that's gotta hurt.
"I swear to god, one more time that kid steps on my shoes, and I will make him scream until his veins pop," Nina said, giving the kid death stares.
"Ok Nina, ok Nina," Wylan said, getting a little scared by Nina now.
"Ok class, listen up," the teacher started, as she walked into the classroom. "Today we are starting our class reading of 'Pride and Prejudice.' A little background information, this story takes place in the early 19th century. It is about a girl named Elizabeth Bennet...." Wylan stopped listening after that. His thoughts drifted to Jesper. The way he would shake his head and chuckle when Wylan got flustered. The way he would smirk when he got a question right in class. The way his hands would fidget when he knew something that others didn't. God he was just so...
