Good Old-Fashioned Loverboy

Chapter 2-I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweetheart

we finally arrived at diagon alley!

"weasleys!" i hear amos diggory call out.

they've been our family friends, so cedric has always been nice to us.

cosette, ginny and i all caught up to dad while the boys were off looking at stuff in other shops.

"hello renee, ginny! oh and this must be one of the potters! cosette i assume?" he says shaking all of our hands.

"yes sir" she says to him. cosette was one of the nicest people i've met.

"and i'm sure you've met my son, cedric" he says, and we see cedric running up to his father.

cedric shook all of our hands and then we continued walking into the shops. cosette nudged my arm a bit.

"cos stop! ur so annoying, still love you though" i say to her.

"RENEE! COSETTE!" we hear from two voices. who could that be?

we turn around and emma and jo engulfed us in a hug.

"OH MY GODRIC HI!" me and cosette say at the same time.

"how are you?!" they ask. we then talked for basically the rest of the trip until we had to get going back.

"see you two on the train later!" i say to them as they walk back to their parents to get their supplies.

"i hope to see you two on the train" cedric says to cosette and i as he's walking back to his father.

"you too!" we both say

once he was out of ear shot, we started talking about him. i knew cosette thought he was cute, which he definitely was, but i knew she didn't like him.

it was finally time for us to go on the train.

"bye mum by dad, i love you!" i say to them.

they waved goodbye and the train started moving. cosette and i found our compartment and sat down. we then heard a knock on the door.

cedric slid open the door.

"oh hey you two, just making sure everybody was safe. prefect duties." he says.

we all nodded and he smiled at us.

"i'll see you guys at the school later" he said while giving us a wink. he then closed the door and cosette and i just looked at each other for a second then started laughing.

"oh my gosh HIS WINK!" i say and she started laughing so hard.

we finally got to the school and as we all sat down at our tables, i looked over to the hufflepuff table to see emma and jo, but made eye contact with cedric. he waved at me so i waved back at him. godric he was beautiful.

it was finally time for the hat to choose which house ginny was in.

"oh another weasley i see. well, you definitely have ambition in you, yes" please don't let her be a slytherin "i know just where to put you...GRYFFINDOR!" the hat yelled out.

our table began celebrating and were so excited. she went and sat by the twins and we were all happy for her.

where were harry and ron? i'm sure they're fine. hopefully.

after the feast was finished, we all went back upstairs and percy was showing the new first years where everything was.

percy asked me to help him because the other prefect was sick and couldn't help. but it was no big deal, i got along with percy better than the other kids do.

as i was helping him, i saw cedric leading some first years up to the hufflepuff common room.

"here is where the hufflepuff common room is, this is where we stay...renee! hey!" he says and i wave back to him.

"hi cedric!" i yell as i wave.

i went into the gryffindor common room after percy and i let the first years find their dorms.

"since when have you been talking to cedric diggory, aye?" percy says to me in a joking way.

"did i just hear that renee is talking to THE cedric diggory?" the twins say as they were walking in from their dorms.

"i was talking to him, but not like that! he's just my friend." i say to them.

i do wish we were more than that though.
