An elongated hand shoved Izuku, causing him to teeter and lose balance.  He knew who it was.  He wondered why these people were doing this.  Why it had to be his only friend.  Why he had to be born quirkless.  Why he had to be born at all.

Izuku wondered a lot of things.

"Pffft!  He's crying now!  We only pushed him and he's crying."  A brown haired teenager cackled.  Izuku stared up at them with empty green eyes and Bakugou noticed this.  He noticed the emptiness and he was scared of it.

"Holy shit... Deku..."  he whispered mostly to himself.  He never meant to go this far.  He wanted Izuku to forget about his dreams, give up so that he wouldn't die.  At least, that's what he told himself.  Yes, he didn't want Izuku to die, but he subconsciously thought the seemingly quirkless boy was a threat.  Even though they thought he had no quirk, the hope in his eyes scared Bakugou so much.

So much that he would turn on the one person that completely relied on him and trusted him with all his heart.

In all honesty, Izuku only had Bakugou.  His Mother died from broken heart when his Father left and he was only a mere 9 years old.  Since Inko'd been an overprotective Mother, he barely knew anything about the real world.  He only knew a few people, Bakugou and Mitsuki being those few.  So imagine how it felt when he entered his first school only to be brought down by the one person he thought he could fully trust.  The one who was supposed to protect him and love him.

It'd been one month.  One month since school started and Izuku was almost over the edge.  He never cried.  Never.  Not when his Mother died, when his Father left, or when Bakugou started bullying him.  So not only was he shocked when he cried, so was Bakugou.  Hot wetness tipped over his eyelids and fell in small rivers down his cream colored cheeks.  He felt his face in wonder.  He lifted his hand up to his eyes and stared at the moisture in awe.

"Kacchan,"  he whispered, cutting off the two other bullies taunting.  The gazed down at the boy's head and wondered what he would say next.  "Kacchan, am I crying?"  He lifted up his head and stared at his old friend in wonder.  Bakugou knew this feeling of crying was new to Izuku.  Yet, he couldn't find it in his heart to spare the younger.

"No shit, dumbass.  I guess you really are useless if you don't even know what crying is,"  he taunted, cackling along with his other 'friends'.  "And I thought you were supposed to be smart."  Izuku let his hand fall inbetween his legs.  He stared down at the dusty, weathered concrete and tuned out the malicious words as it began to rain.

. . . .

There were three things that Izuku knew.

First off, he knew that Bakugou hated him.  Or, that's what he thought.  Either way, it was truth to him since he had no other conclusion that he could come to that was somewhat logical.  Bakugou bullied him simply because his feeling for the younger had changed, and that it was his fault.  Maybe he'd done something wrong or messed up his favorite shirt and that somehow caused Bakugou to hate him.  It was either that, or someone with the same exact quirk and looks as Bakugou had kidnapped his old friend and taken his place.

Second of all, his Father had killed his Mother.  Maybe not intentionally, but it was still his fault.  The vivid image of his Mother's despair when she read his goodbye note.  How she broke down in tears and clutched the white sheet to her heart.  He thought about all of the different ways his life could have panned out if his Father didn't leave.  He could've still had a family to support him in this difficult time, especially with all the bullying.  His Mother would still be alive and she could've homeschooled him like she did for years.  There would still be hot meals on the table when he comes home and warm laundry on his bed.  Not the mess that he calls dinner or pigsty that he calls his home.

Finally, he knew that he was quirkless.  Again, this was wrong, but how would he know?  This, he knew, was fact.  He went to the quirk doctor and they did tests.  Everyday, he tested himself for a quirk by focusing his energy on one single thing, but nothing ever happened.  He never showed any physical signs of having a quirk and he even had a second joint.

Now this brings us to the one thing that Izuku didn't know.  If he did, it would change his life forever and he wouldn't be this way, but the one thing he didn't know was....

He did have a quirk.

Yes, it seems like I pulled this explanation out of my ass, but it has two simple reasons why he didn't know.  One, he didn't know because it wouldn't show up until he died.  Physically, for that matter, not mentally.  His quirk was very special, meaning it was rare and he would be incredibly sought after by both heroes and villains.  Two, it was an x-ray mishap, so the photos got switched.

Now, to sum it all up, Izuku has a dead Mother whom of which died because of his Father.  His Father is MIA and left around a year or two ago.  He now knows only five people, three of which bully him intensely.  He (thinks) has no quirk and is a normal human being which is incredibly bad in the society he lives in.  He's figured out he's pansexual and poly so that means even more discrimination and probably more bullying.  The boy wants to die but tries to live on for his mother, his dreams are crushed by his best friend.  And all of this could have been prevented is the doctor's didn't mess up the e-rays, bringing us to our conclusion:

Never trust those goddamned doctors.
