Katara was angry. She was angry at everybody and everything. She always found a way through everything. She kept Aang safe at the Northern Water Tribe, she helped keep the gang calm when Sokka used to give everyone (Aang especially) a panic attack, she even kept Toph from crossing the line, which was definitely next to impossible. This time they had all messed up big time. They had believed that telling the earth king about the eclipse would make things a lot more easier, since about half the weight would be lifted from their shoulders. Little had they known that the earth king was not aware of the war! Forget the war, he did not even know anything past his bear.
Finally, when they had taught him about the history of the world he just had to go and tell it to everyone he knew. Well maybe that part wasn't his mistake, after all it was Sokka who had said that he could completely trust the Kyoshi warriors. But she couldn't blame her brother, they all had believed that Azula and her friends were the real Kyoshi warriors, that make-up was very convincing. Stop! Why was she thinking of make-up in the middle of everything. If things weren't bad enough, they had certainly gotten a lot worse because of her.
She had heard of the wonders of the Jasmine Dragon tea-shop. It was said that they made the best tea in the kingdom. She had wanted to try it herself to check if the rumors were true, as she had nothing to do. The gang had separated as they had thought telling the earth king had given them the time to do other stuff. Aang had gone to an old guy who was apparently called Guru Pathik who said he could help Aang go into the avatar state and control himself, Sokka despite her words was thinking of different ways to invade the Fire Nation on the day of the Black Sun. Toph had gone to meet her parents who had sent her a letter saying they were ready to accept her as she was with open arms. She had entered the tea shop filled with awe as she looked around at all the people who were happily drinking tea, despite the bad times.
Just as she was heading towards a table she heard a familiar voice, perhaps it was a bit too familiar, "Uncle," he called out, "We need two cups of Oolong tea for table 18." It was Zuko. "Slow down Lee, I am going as fast as I can." Iroh said as he turned smiling at his nephew. She had run straight to the king. Why did Zuko have to show up everywhere they went? How did he show up everywhere they went? As she entered the courtroom she noticed no one around, except for 3 figures in front of the throne wearing a uniform she was all too familiar with. "Suki!" She had cried out, "I am so glad you are here, even if the earth king isn't. You will not believe what I found out. Zuko is here!" "Well thank you for that piece of information," said the lead figure as she turned around and smiled, "I think my girls and I will take care of that." That was when she noticed the eye colour, Suki's were blue but these, they were amber and filled with coldness and hatred. "Azula!" she exclaimed. "Take her to the glowing comb place," Azula told the Dai Li. "You mean the Crystal Catacombs." Ty Lee corrected. "Whatever. Now follow me, it is time for a family reunion with dear Zuzu."
Now she was stuck in this cave. With no one but herself to blame. Katara was so sure the world was laughing at her right this moment. She was sure that it had to have been almost an hour and half, or somewhere close to that, by now. She was hungry, and had eaten the last of the berries she had been carrying around with her for Momo. She had let him go as soon as she realized it was Azula she was speaking to, and not Suki. She hoped Aang and her friends wouldn't come rushing in to save her, if they did they would be walking into a trap. She had already tried waterbending her way out and she was exhausted. She had to rest to regain her energy, and that is what she did.
