THERE ARE TWO THINGS TEAGAN PRIME LEARNED THE HARD WAY:

At the age of seven, she learned not to love people passionately. She was so young, so pure to have her little heart broken in two by disappointment, big-caramel eyes bled with tears as her brother’s voice echoed through the inner walls of her ears. It chanted; ‘she’s not coming back’, ‘we’re going home’, ‘she’s out of our lives now, forget about her’. 

At the age of fourteen, she learned that humans are not to be trusted. After being hurt by an outsider she considered a sister and a role model, Teagan believed she was safe only trusting in her family, but boy was she wrong? Ava Herrera did something horrible, she kept a secret from her family and Teagan found out about it without her meaning to, she was just a curious little girl. But for the second time, her heart was broken, there was so much deceit and lies coming from Ava Herrera and Teagan as well as her older brother were fooled by them, unsuspecting. 

But at the age of sixteen, she will learn to forgive.
