Amelia introduces everyone to her family. Her family who has had no prior contact with mythical creatures of any kind.

"Ok, so just to recap everything. My parents have never ever EVER had any contact with mythical creatures, especially ones as powerful as you guys. So can you please, pleeeaaase try your hardest to be on your best behaviour, and try not to destroy anything or set anything on fire, Kiara" The phoenix suddenly snapped to attention as soon as Amelia mentioned her. She looked from side to side, clearly having not been paying attention the whole time. Amelia just let out a sigh of disappointment, pinched the bridge of her nose.

"At least tell me you know what I was asking, Kiara" The phoenix twiddled her thumbs before Calliope leaned over and whispered something in her ear.

"You want us to be on our best behaviour while we visit your parents!" Amelia just gave the phoenix a tired smile, already familiar with Kiara's antics.

To calm her nerves, Amelia leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to Kiara's forehead, making the phoenix giggle.

Meanwhile, you and Gura started gushing over the adorable sight, in a fairly teasing way. Gura's tail swished along the ground in amusement.

"Aww, look at the happy couple. Hey Ame, you think we could get a kiss or two?" You gave the detective a flirtatious wink, Gura laughing behind you, simply egging you on. The detective turned to you, Kiara smiling with her cheeks flushed, leaning into the reaper next to her.

"(Y/N)... Gura... I love you both, but please, for five seconds, could you not be adorable idiots?" Gura shrugged with an innocent look and you just crossed your arms, giving her a sassy look.

"Why don't you come over here and make me, detective?" With an eye-roll, Amelia made her way over to you with two, wide strides, pulled you in by the collar of your shirt, and promptly shut you up with a kiss.

"Now, does anyone else here want a kiss?" Amelia said, leaving you breathless. Beside you, Gura raised her hand excitedly, hopping up and down on her tip toes. Ina gave her a flustered look, but raised her hand as well.

"Calli, you sure?" Amelia said with a sarcastic edge. The reaper 'guh'-ed awkwardly, shuffling her feet. 

"What am I gonna do with you guys?" It was rhetorical, of course, but all those thoughts were thrown out of the window when Gura and Ina sidled up to the detective. You, Kiara and Calli just walked out of the room, leaving the detective to fend for herself.

"She'll be fine" You it brushed off, Kiara nodding sagely beside you while Calli gave a worried glance at the door, hearing a flurry of noises from behind it. She opened her mouth to ask a follow up question, but you placed a finger over her mouth.

"Calli... She'll be fine" It shut the reaper up, for now at least.

Thinking back on that situation made you feel a swarm of chuckled swell up. It made you feel a little better while waiting for Ina to help Amelia overcome her plane sickness, which involved helping her throw up in the airport bathroom.
